So if your landing and you see a turtle or para you wanna attack. Watch out to see if there are any of these guys. One time I was resting my argy and I decided to attack a turtle. Um guys? This Lil guy spawned in my base in South zone 1 I slept his food was drowned so I tranqued since it was in my south zone 1 it had no buddies I have no idea how it got there I got some meat and I tamed him he's now my little buddy who protects me =his name is Murray one green=1 love for little murray
Valguero aberrant area, specifically in the radiation zone now spawns aberrant versions of these guys.
There are aberrant versions but I donβt think they spawn normally on evolved, and in ascended they are very rare so keep your eyes out if you ever go into the rock drake scar
I went to raid a base with 4 buddies, a rex, 3 carnos, and a bronto with a platform saddle and cannons. All we heard was a whistle and i swear about 50 of these little devil's swarmed the whole group, killing everyone in the group and one carno, the turrets shredded everything else, but the rex must have ran off and we never got a death message so its still out there in the jungle.
If you hit one in north redwoods river on mobile all dimorphodons in ark history will come after you it will swarm your friends your family some guy down the street some guy in Africa and a alien on another planet so yeah don't pass them off :D

A tip for beginners:
If you attack these guys with your dinosaur be warned...
Even during riding your Mount, they will kill you first, not your dinosaurβ¦
And they do tons of damage and are not that easy to hit with smaller dinosaurs (small hitbox)
Try to avoid them early game
When in areas that have many dimorphadon remember to be careful and not to hit one by accident when fighting other creatures as you can easily be overwhelmed.your mount will not be able to save you as they deal damage directly to the rider.
They're annoying, I got a pack of it chasing me and my argentavis and kill us both,, no matter how fast,, you can't shake them lil missiles
Get a C4 and attach it to one of these and then whistle attack. "Hunter killer drone deployed!"
