If you accidentally hit one of them and an entire swarm chases after you, the easiest way to deal with it is to use a pteranodon and barrel roll through the swarm. This will deal damage to every dimorphodon in the swarm and if your pteranodon has enough melee damage (700%+) you should be able to one hit kill most of them. Pteranodon also speed up drastically while doing the barrel roll so the dimorphodons canโt really hit it as it yeets past them.

Valguero aberrant area, specifically in the radiation zone now spawns aberrant versions of these guys.
Um guys? This Lil guy spawned in my base in South zone 1 I slept his food was drowned so I tranqued since it was in my south zone 1 it had no buddies I have no idea how it got there I got some meat and I tamed him he's now my little buddy who protects me =his name is Murray one green=1 love for little murray
I went to raid a base with 4 buddies, a rex, 3 carnos, and a bronto with a platform saddle and cannons. All we heard was a whistle and i swear about 50 of these little devil's swarmed the whole group, killing everyone in the group and one carno, the turrets shredded everything else, but the rex must have ran off and we never got a death message so its still out there in the jungle.
Terrifying in packs, I watched 4 technically 5 (he wasnโt doing much) kill a deinosuchus
When in areas that have many dimorphadon remember to be careful and not to hit one by accident when fighting other creatures as you can easily be overwhelmed.your mount will not be able to save you as they deal damage directly to the rider.
A tip for beginners:
If you attack these guys with your dinosaur be warned...
Even during riding your Mount, they will kill you first, not your dinosaurโฆ
And they do tons of damage and are not that easy to hit with smaller dinosaurs (small hitbox)
Try to avoid them early game
Donโt aggro it in redwoods. DONโT AGGRO IT IN REDWOODS!
player attacks one of them (rookie mistake๐๐)(new player behavior ๐๐๐๐๐)
Get a C4 and attach it to one of these and then whistle attack. "Hunter killer drone deployed!"
If you go into deep water they canโt attack you!
