Once I bred a dilo, the egg hatched triplets, I named them uno dos and tres

I'm new to Ark so what I say isn't that important but if you get like 20 of these guys and tame em' after some leveling they can be an effective army. (Mobile)

I tamed three dilo, Two female and a male. I named the male Alpha dilo and he was the strongest and High level in the pack. Other two were Dilo vrex and Dilo Dilo krex. They are very good at pack hunting in early games. You can also hunt creatures like bronto just let the pack distract the bronto and you only have to attack from a distance with your bow.(make sure to spend a good amount of points in Health and Melee.)

Dilos are amazing as early game body gurd

Just tame a pack of 3 and you are good to go

These are great in packs, early game they can be a pain so spears are needed!

Easy tame method

Need-spear,bolas,bat amd fresh meat

1)poke it and run backwards

2)bolas him since his runing your way

3)knock out with bat

4)put meat in inventory (more meat higher lv)

5)protect it till its tamed

Boom u have a dilo!

Set it on neutral so it will protect u when get hit but wont attack other dilo automaticly and enable "wont target unconscious" so it wont kill ur other knockout dilos

Then repeat to form urself a pack of them! Its fun to watch them slaughter medium dinos

genuinely? these guys are IT. if youre a beginner get yourself at least 4-5 dilos. its almost cheating how strong these guys are. i had 5 dilos ranging from levels 35-100 and they killed EVERYTHING, even like 4 rex. theyll slow down your target while doing some pretty good damage too.

These things are underestimated i saw two of these take on a bronto they bothed lived and won because one got stuck under the bronto and killed it after that three more came out of the jungle. Me and my cousin killed the other one and tamed the one that killed the bronto it was like lvl 25 but we named it hero it was by far the strongest dino i saw literly i saw a bronto take on to carnos and win.

These Dinos are great for defending your base. Tame 4-10 of them and put them surrounding your base. They can kill raptors if they work together. The only problem is they cannot take down therizinosaurs or Carnos unless it’s about 10 level 250 dilos.

HEY GUYS A QUICK NOTE IF YOU HAVE YOUR CREATURE SET TO ATTACK TARGET WHEN YOU TRY TO TAME ANOTHER ANIMAL THE DILO WILL ATTACK. IF YOU WANT TO TRAIN ANOTHER ANIMAL MAKE SURE TO SET ITS ATTACK TO NEUTRAL;)

If you want to kill some sarco get around 4or6 and you will definitely kill it

Dilo is a great tame for a starter, as it is fast and can help starters in battles with other Dilos and sometimes raptors. The easy way I get a dilo is to spam run at them while punching them, they don’t get a chance to shoot poison when I do this. The highest level I’ve gotten with this so far is 16. I recommend getting a Dilo for starters.

Get 30+ dilos, some trikes, and you rule the entire fricking Ark game

How big should I make my dilo army? Maybe 100 dilos? You NEED a dilo army. Just one or two is weak, but with 100 or so, they will be blinding and killing your prey in an instant!

A great tame for hunting small animals STAY AWAY FROM TRIKES they will attack if your tame gets close while hunting!

Use there Venom spit to slow down the pray

Somehow three of these things killed a 140 raptor and 3 troodons, of course I was the meat shield but still, I guess they can be good

Either you can create this bond since it can spit poison that will slow your enemies down with a tamed one or kill them and forever wage war on them since they are so annoying your choice. I had this one named Tim and he literally killed Carnos all on his own since he is lvl 250. But one day it came to an end. He and I were just doing our normal raft voyages as usual but when we decided to stop, a bunch of terror birds attacked us. Tim spat at one and started to fight them. I decided to make the run for it to my raft since I was scared and was quite noob at the time. I managed to escape but Tim tried to follow me back onto the raft but the terror birds killed Tim first. Now, I shall exterminate all those terror birds I see.

Extremely good for starters and easy to knock out. You don’t need a bola just shoot it with slingshot while running. It shouldn’t take long. Try to tame high level one and make sure it has enough health to distract. The spit slows down the target(By a lot) and you can shoot arrows at it. These guys are my favorite starters.

One day I was playing ark console and these guys are a life saver

A theri snuck up on me and killed me quick it was a level 57 and all my 5 in total were all about lvl25 600 health each and about 400 damage each they killed it np barely lost any health LIFE SAVERS

To the guy who said Dilophosaurus, “in real life,” could spit acid, there was no evidence that they spit acid or had frills. Those small Dilophosaurs/Jurrasic World’s Dilophosaurs were twice as small as the real life Dilophosaurus. The real life Dilophosaurus, living in the Jurrasic Period, could destroy a car. They just belive in Jurrasic World.
