This is minimum level 85 to tame.

Beer in your passive tame spot.

Approach and hold still when it turns to face you, after three animations you can walk up between it's front legs, it will take the beer..

Ear wiggle, good

Trunk swing, good

Head shake, good

Foot stomp, RUN

It helps to have some stone gates to run through to slow it down

They are not friendly. They arent nice. They are the embodiment of evil and will stare you down before charging over to kill you and everything you love

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR TAMING:

Each facial animation has a designated amount that increases the probability that the deino accepts the beer.

Trunk shake: 50%

Ear flapping: 35%

Head shake: 15%

All thats left is to calculate and approach the deino when the amount reaches 100 or over.

DO NOT APPROACH

If it does either of these animations

1. Ears folded back

2. Trunk rolls up to one side

Thats it.

I was exploring with my two morelltops i raised, i saw three of these, didn't know what they were. I walked up to see if they were aggressive. They are. Chased us miles away and cornered us, killing my camels. I got away with a plan for vengeance. Went into creative, found the gang, killed one, force tamed the other two. Bred those two until they gave me a baby I liked. Kill the parents. You killed my babies now I take yours, and kill you. >:(

I thought these were friendly.

Instead, they killed me and my harmless little monkey, Sugar :(

Do NOT mess with them unprepared, I saw the same two that killed me battle a wild high level rex and WIN.

Y'all please prepare if you want a fight. If you want to run, do it before they aggro you.

They killed my pachy… monsters..

I used these things for the overseer i spent hours breeding only to find out they couldn’t even fit in the cave but I didn’t want all that time to go to waste so I used admin commands and eventually i had 8/10 deinotheriums and only 3 came into the boss while the others just stayed behind it was really buggy but luckily I pulled through and ascended

Would not recommend using for the boss though theris or rexes would be better maybe even chalicos

Once tamed, elephants can share a buff with other allied dinos. A male gives 15% attack, but if there is more than 1 male elephant it won't work. Each female gives 5% resistance, capping at 15% with 3 females.

1. Put Beer in your last slot

2. Separate the one you wanna tame from the others (or kill them)

3. Leave render to reset the behaver, come back to about 50m and park your mount

4. Walk to it till it starts sniffing and walk to you, it will stop in a certain distance and start the behavior for the tame process

5. You wait standing still till it do ALL the animations:

- Shake the head

- Waving the elephant's trunk/nose

- Wiggle your ears

And just then!!

6. Walk right under his head and it will take by itself the Beer from you

!!! When it rises the foot, when you come to it. Run to your tame!!! And do it fast because it is faster then a Rex!!!

I thought it was a friendly elephant but it looked at me then stunned me and 2 tapped me it was level 10

We TAMED A 135 F and it took 31:09 min from the first Beer it took. Timer is def off.

YOU HAVE TO BE LEVEL 95 TO TAME IF, NOT HE WILL ATTACK!

They are NOT friendly herbivores, and trust me, it's fast, so don't go too close to it, i thought it was friendly the first time I saw it but then it saw me and chased me down, and then I died😭

For a beer to be accepted the deino must do all 3 animations:

Ear wiggle

Head swing

Trunk swing

CAUTION: Do not attempt to tame if deino has ears pinned straight back or trunk off to the right

You have to be level 95 to tame it (reason) it has to respect you
