1. Put Beer in your last slot

2. Separate the one you wanna tame from the others (or kill them)

3. Leave render to reset the behaver, come back to about 50m and park your mount

4. Walk to it till it starts sniffing and walk to you, it will stop in a certain distance and start the behavior for the tame process

5. You wait standing still till it do ALL the animations:

- Shake the head

- Waving the elephant's trunk/nose

- Wiggle your ears

And just then!!

6. Walk right under his head and it will take by itself the Beer from you

!!! When it rises the foot, when you come to it. Run to your tame!!! And do it fast because it is faster then a Rex!!!

YOU HAVE TO BE LEVEL 95 TO TAME IF, NOT HE WILL ATTACK!

These require beer jars and timbres at a similar proportion to the chalic. They require passive taming, be careful of the herds they come in, and the inevitable predators in proximity

**This tip is only for people having trouble on an unofficial server/cluster that has a resource stacking mod and have not been able to get taming progression:

- craft your own beer

- split your stack to singles and put one in your hot bar at a time.

If you're following the taming process from content creators, you should now be able to tame one.

*Beer from drops did not work, so I dumped all of them and just crafted my own.

Successfully tamed one with 3 consecutive beers.

When tamed they can harvest both meat and berries

Angry Grouchy Beasts. I tried to walk through a herd and they started stomping me.

Unlike the theri, these are always aggressive no matter what you're riding.

It can do a stomping attack while moving forward, sideways, or backward

Just go to YouTube. Short 1:30 vid. They have animations you have to look for and a certain time slot required to give them the beer.

Ok so basically you HAVE to be level 95 to tame. Put beer in the last slot of your hot bar, then it will sniff around (meaning it notices the beer) and find you. Look carefully at its trunk as it will roll its trunk up. It’s ears will also stick out. Go to it and feed it beer. Repeat the step. Also don’t go to the Deinotherium when it’s trunk is out and it’s ears are out too. Kill the other Deinotheriums in the pack (sorry for not mentioning that earlier) I believe it also looks different when male or female. Hope this helps.

Don't learn the hard way that they are too big to fit into the tek cave even though Carchars do. :(

I feel a lot of people misinterpret the animations. The fight music will play when it notices you for you to be able to bring it beer. Wait for the animations (YouTube and google will show you what animations to look for) and then approach with beer in last slot. I recommend you bring a riot shield just in case you misinterpret one of the animations.
