Excellent at breeding mutations these raptors are merciless when you get a pack of 5 or more, set them on dinos after buffing them with your pack leader and watch a literal biological meat grinder, recommend going with hp mutations as they have non existent health pools and are essentially glass cannons however their sheer numbers and vicious stacking bleed dot (damage over time) not to mention 0 fall damage from ANY height and the ability to traverse any terrain above water (not terrible in the water for a land dino) make this raptor very desirable it should be noted that the pack mate buff (press C on computer) can be used while attacking, moving, falling, swimming, or while latched onto an enemy dino, (activation will uncouple you from enemy dino) most of the time not even playing the animation allowing you to get powered up and not miss a single attack from the leader or pack, Deinonychus FTW!!!

Just run up in there balls to the walls and take the egg then pray to god they don’t catch you

To get one of these one the Nintendo Switch version, you will need to go to Genesis 2 and use commands to spawn the Gauntlet Mission variant (check Ark.wiki.gg Deinonychus page for the command) and use ForceTame on it. You will not be able to ride it even with a saddle, but you can use the command GetEgg while looking at it to acquire a fertilized normal deinonychus egg that you can hatch and use like a normal tame.

To "tame" a Deinonychus, you have 2 options.

Option 1. You will need strong creature, and nests. After you will find the nest you have To jumper off your creature, get egg and kill every deino, that will try To attack you. After getting every egg you could find, use Egg Incubator, or 5-7 air conditioners To hatch them (the like 90°C To start hatching).

Option 2. You will need fast creature, like a Pt, wyvern or griffin, and nests. You have To find nests, ten land near one, grab the egg, and run away. Better fly near the ground, over the Cliff, because deinos are stupid, and they will fellow you, no matter what.

Snow owls work really well get a lv 30-40ish they're really quick so you can always get outta dodge make sure these guys are distracted (usually always distracted by something so it isn't too hard) and land right next to the egg, pick it up and fly outward don't fly directly up

You can farm eggs pretty easy by leaving render and coming back after about a minute or so! It's perfect if you have two egg spots about a minute apart.

This requires 2 people and 2 flyers

The best way I’ve don it was have a freind on a flyer with upgraded hp have them distract the adults whilst you swoop in and get eggs problem free

Fly over them and lure them away. Sacrifice a dodo or something for them to attack, grab the eggs and fly away on Pteranodon or other flyer.

Basically if a raptor and a microraptor had a kid. Love these things.

I say their great hunting tools for large animals.For example:a rex you can just latch on to it and do damage then you have some hide,raw prime meat and raw meat(P.S anything large it can latch onto examples: Diplo,bronto titanasaur giga.Nonexamples:raptor dodo oviraptor micro raptor otter)

After seeing tips from here. Stole 2 eggs (level 8 & level 74). 2 Fireplaces. 11 campfires. 33 minutes later. One red color from level 8 egg. Three from level 74 egg! All blue color 2 males 1 female! This was my very first time hatching any egg of any species ever! Been playing for 3 days total. How?

Hop on your moth and grab the eggs. The moths are fast and have that weird dust attack so they are good for that.

For this to make sense Laching on a titan u will see dat there are 10 lach slots

Weight stinks but is still an absolute killer

Any flyer will do. I managed to get several eggs with a moth

Extremely powerful my level 160 with 800 dmg. Easily killed a pack of Allos and on a different occasion easily killed a level 130 Rex

This Dino can successfully get into and out of the abberation zone

If you have a pack of these the highest level one will be able to buff the others with a war cry! Kinda like the raptors.

Use a fast PT or high melee argy

Make sure you don't have any additional dinos mods they mess with the spawing
