The Reaping - Chapter three
Mauve pulsed with fear and anger as he made his way through the tight crowd and ran after his sister. But before he could get very far, a few guard deinonychuses strolled in and grabbed him, pushing him back.
"SCORCH!" He yelled, knowing that wouldn't help. Maybe he could get his parents to help him.
Mauve dashed back and tried to find his parents. *Where are they? They were just here a minute ago.* He thought with frustration.
*I'll have to make do without them.*
Mauve came up with a little plan; He'd circle around the crowd as it eased and went away, in the jungle. And then he'd follow the scent trail of Alpha. Quite simple, but maybe not that easy. He'd think of more once he had more information.
Mauve slipped out into the trees unseen, and ran in a circle around the Sacrifice Clearing. He got to a path with two pairs of talonprints, both fresh. Small and big. *Scorch and Alpha.*
He followed the scent and tracks silently, it took a few turns. Left, right, right, left. Which led the same way originally, but it's probably for Alpha to not be followed. *If that's the case, they do a horrid job at it.* Mauve thought.
Suddenly he heard screams and angry growls up ahead, both of which he recognized.
Mauve crouched down and looked through the ferns, seeing Alpha tying Scorch up a pole with a rope. They were at a clearing next to a river, and on the other side of the river a huge, dark hole sat. Mauve could smell weird scents of death, and something else, coming from there. It must be strong for him to smell it all the way across the river.
Mauve saw Alpha tie the last rope and he dashed away, not even looking in Mauve's direction. Mauve burst out of the ferns and ran to Scorch.
"Are you okay?" He whispered to her as he started untying the ropes and cutting the ones he didn't know how to untie. Scorch nodded, crying with both happiness and fear.
Mauve untied the last rope and grabbed Scorch. "Let's go!"

The Reaping - Chapter two
Everyone in the nesting grounds dreaded this day, but it always came. Once a month they sacrificed someone to satisfy beasts that they weren't sure even existed.
Anyone who knew what they were was long dead. "Welcome everyone...w- we all know what today is." Said the alpha as everyone gathered around. Mauve looked at his tail feathers self consciously. "Do I look ok?" He whispered to his parents. Everyone knew that the alpha usually chose those that he liked the least, but nobody spoke about it because it could mean an instant sacrifice.
"Well...let's see..." said the alpha as Scorch nervously huddled against Mauve. "It's ok...nobody your age is ever chosen." Mauve lied, trying to calm her. "How about...you!" He heard the alpha yell, pointing.
Mauve knew where the alpha was pointing, even before he looked. The alpha's talon was pointed at Mauve. Scorch and Mauve's parents were speechless. Mauve began to walk forward, but to his suprise, the alpha told him to go back. "No, not you...her. the little one." The alpha said. "NO! SHE'S AN INNOCENT HATCHLING, SHE DID NOTHING WRONG! TAKE ME INSTEAD!" Mauve yelled, only embarrassing himself as the others ignored.
"Well everyone...let's not delay this any more than neccesary." The alpha said surprisingly calmly, like sacrificing innocent children was no big deal and he had done it many times before. "Come on!" The alpha growled, pulling Scorch, who tried desperately to free herself from his grasp. Mauve couldn't just let them sacrifice his little sister. After all, she was his responsibility.

The Reaping - Chapter one
"Mauve! Scorch! Wake up!"
Mauve heard his mother call. He dashed out of his hole with his little sister trailing behind. She recently learned to walk.
Mauve looked back and Scorch tripped on the rocks. "Are you okay?" He asked as he helped her up. She was so tiny, and her orange-black feathers were still fluffy. Scorch stood up and nodded, waddling towards their parents.
They walked out to see mother dealing with an ovi raptor. She snorted as it tried to grab the egg, but then father ran up to it and scared it off.
"Well, who wants to come hunt it? If so, we have to go now before it's gone." Father said. "This would be Scorch's first hunt.
Scorch stood up to him and puffed out her chest. "I'll rip its face off!" She said loudly, but it was more like a squeak.
"I want to come." Mauve decided. Mother nodded. "I'll come too," she said.
"Then, let's go!" Father pushed his way out of the small cave and dashed across the wet grass, the full-grown deinonychus disappeared within seconds of entering the jungle. Mother followed behind, carrying Scorch. Mauve ran after.
*That oviraptor will pay for trying to eat my little sibling!* Mauve thought, going in after. He ran close to his mother, following her tail.
"Yes! I got it!" Father bellowed triumphantly as the rest of the family slowed to a stop. He came out of the bushes with the limp ovi in his jaws as a loud roar echoed through the trees.
Unmistakably, that was the horn for the Sacrifice Announcement.

So I had a deinonychus named Denver and he is amazing, we explored the aberration trench, gone through many caves, and helped me get 3 Allos and one day I was out hunting beaver dams for cementing paste then a yuty came out of nowhere and her carno minions attacking me (yuty was level 145 and the carnos I donβt know) but I took out the carnos and with 2600 health left out of 3100 but then the yuty fear roared Denver and we almost drowned because of the ice lake but we got out and I had 30 health left out of 450 from the fight and lake but Denver is me favorite Deinonychus and alway will be this was on Val
A lonely rock drake walked into The crowd moving to the Abberation Trench on Valgrueo. They arent allowed to come, so he snuck in. The crowd walked and finally came to there. They moved in just as a baby raptor was born. Said raptor loved to adventure, so the little raptor and his siblings from across the map walked to the trench. The other two died fighting a giga (they grew up along the journey) but the little clever female escaped. She walked and saw the trench, and went in. As she was clever, she escape bigger predators. She walked into the mushroom forest and saw a rock drake, a male who looked sad. They talked and apparently the rock drake, named Zoomer, had lost his family before hatching. The humand took him but dropped him whilr they were fighting something. The raptor, named Cinder, told him about how she and her sibs were adventurers, but they died coming here. They became friends, and then mates. Zoomer died fighting off a bunch of karkinos and defending the nest. Cinder escaped with the eggs and made it to the White Cliffs, settling in and hatching the eggs. They turned into deinonychus and lived across the map. The spirits of them lived on and watched as their descendants killed every last survivor venturing in their territory.

I had managed to snatch an egg that had level 140 parents had was excited to hatch my first Deinonychus and took it back to my house and then put down a bunch of standing torches to warm the egg. I went to drop the egg in the middle of the torches and looked and saw the egg had not been dropped. Then I heard a heart dropping munching sound and realized that I had eaten the egg! Moral of the story: make sure you press Left trigger and not Right trigger on console when dropping eggs you plan to hatch!
When I was new to the map I was playing with my cousin on valguero, and since Rexes kept finding our bases we spawned in chalk hills zone two. And by golly that was a bad idea. When we spawned we were in a nice lake surrounded by cliffs, but I wanted to get out in the open. So I found a cave that lead out after endless searching, and I thought it didnβt lead out so I was lost a bit just following a path. When I got out I saw a deinonychus and decided I needed to sneak around. I saw the alpha of the pack and hid behind a rock, but when I wasnβt looking a deinonychus came and attacked with the alpha. Now Iβve learned my lesson and live in the small islands.
