Best way to find these easily is by using ORBIT CAMERA to look under the sand.

Look megatheriam sorry if I spelt it wrong , are so good at killing death worms but have to live near a desert or fly it to the desert wyverns work just as well with no casualties but thunder wyverns are better mine killed a death worm in one blast it deals 546 damage per tick if you just get on it is likely not to do more than 100 damage per tick but that alone in total is like 3000 damge tip mine hatched from a level 280 egg get stronger eggs

If u c a flicker on your screen and it has a funny shape it Is probably a deathworm

Magmasaurs and Fire Wyverns make light work of these things

They do not appear to have eyes. So how can they see you without eyes!?!

This requires two people one on poison one on fire wyvern and use one to keep up and spam abilities to shred

For the few tips that I have read there hasn't been one that has talked about the Dinopithecus. If you tame a level 150 and get health up to 10k and melee damage up to 1000% these things tear through Death Worms

Run on the desert ground till you see the dust then through out your wyvern from its crypod and light him up

If ur ever in scorched earth looking for death worms for their black pearls use a fire wyvern that’s the best way to kill it

Make a pile of oil and light it on fire, then use a pteradon to lead it through the oil pile back and fourth. It should catch fire and die eventually.

Use a titanosaur! A titanosaur can kill a deathworm in ~20 stomps!

There also in ragnarok in the ice cave but they also give death worm horns which are needed to take mantis”s

Get a dino with around 1000 hp and 1k melee and you should defeat these easily. I find fire wyverns are best but you can also use thylas, rexes and alot of other stuff. Sometimes you can spot them as they spawn in so keep an eye out while going across the desert and you should find some pretty fast. Got 15 horns after 30 minutes on my fire wyvern (2000 hp and around 1.4k melee)

Since everyone else's tips are stupid. If you want to find a deathworm, you can use k mode and look underground. If a worm is nearby, you will see it's body. You can use a land mount like a thyla or a flyer like the wyvern. If flying, point the flyer downwards to make controlling easier. As for fighting it....use whatever dino you have. Rexes are great, wyverns too. Wolves are effective against the worms as well as the alpha to. If you plan to live out on the dunes in SE, be prepared to have random encounters time to time. These worms CAN destroy thatch-stone-adobe. My solution was to just use my rex army but wolves work great early game.

Get a good tank like a rock golem and just use wyverns and if you want to escape be fast

It’s not the hardest thing to kill.

If you take a creature that has 10,000HP,does 200-300 damage with each hit, and has 80 armor. Shadowmane works great. With 80 armor the deathworm does 27 damage (lvl 1) per hit and has (just guessing) 7,000 HP.

You can take one out with like a pack of high-level sabers none of this rex stuff
