Good but need a lot of food to work on mobile you will need to force feed it on mobile or it won’t eat even if you turned off passive healing.
If there’s two, your dead. Don’t fight them. Don’t run. SWIM FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
These things are relentless in scorched earth. I encounter one and was unprepared so I understandably ran for my life, when a heatwave came i had to share a small pond with a pig that wanting nothing more than to rip me to shreds. What happened next? I died to 2 more that were following behind
These bad piggies are stronger together! Try avoiding them at first.
Easy to tame if you have mutton. Bring bacon back to your house then murder the ovis. Quick tame.
When taming, bring meat, meat and more meat. Then, just when you think you have enough...bring more! These things are PIGS! (Pun intended)
Feeding it regular raw meat while taming, its food will actually drop almost as quickly as it goes up, meaning you probably don't have to starve it as much as you think you do. I only starved mine half way and its food still wasn't full after over a solid hour of eating.
Vote up for instant tame!
Take it in a cage with door frames(with an argentarvis)
Hurt it really muchwith a pike through doorframes, so you see blood, check health with magnificant glasses, hurt it again when max health.
Throw over 1000 raw meat in and see how its tamed in 30 seconds :D (mine was lvl 150 on center map)
then shoot it
Have a friend hold them in the air and use tranqs 🙂there -warriorofthedays
If you plan to get yourself one of these in Scorched Earth, having a Hyaenodon with the Meatpack can greatly improve the chances of preserving the Raw Prime Meat before it is ready to eat it.
Yeah, they eat so much that it takes time to reach the "bottom" of the meat stack you'll have to feed it.
When breeding, use cooked meat, not raw meat. Cooked mutton is best if you have it in excess. Expect for it to eat hundreds of sheeps worth if cooked mutton.
These things will run when low and they can heal wild
As your knocking it out let it go through a couple healing rounds first. By doing that its food will already be down pretty far then just throw the stuff on to tame it and you won't have to wait.
A bola works on them but u will need multiple male sure to have lots of meat cause these things eat a stack of 20 in like 2 seconds.
When gathering from regular bushes they sometimes find mushrooms
