TRANFERRING IS POSSIBLE! I uploaded all 3 of my passive tamed crystal wyverns into the obelisk & transferred them to Ragnarok & The Island w no issue whatsoever. I didn’t try cryopod transfer, as doing that makes me nervous & I don’t like to risk it. But transferring through the obelisk works.

Basically if you like the glow of wyverns you would want to learn some stuff I found out so...female wyverns glow brighter if needed to know.. they also seem a bit bigger. Now besides that I wish on tropical wyverns we could swim in with the wyvern it needs a bit work for how they function...but otherwise it’s good!

If you want a op fleet of wyverns read this.

First, tame about 10 wyverns (Tropical or Ember recommended) and beef them up to about 10k health if you can. Here are the priorities you have to make for the stat points.

Health always comes first so they can last longer

Then stamina so they can fly longer and fight longer

Then melee damage so they can do tons of damage.

I also would recommend a blood wyvern since they drain health easily. For a blood wyvern do health, damage and then stamina.

They can't carry as many creatures as the original wyverns can, but that's really the only significant difference, and they're perfect for stealing wyvern eggs. A high level one will take less damage than a griffin, fly faster than a snow owl, and have more stamina than a pteranodon. I also use mine to kill alpha raptors and carnos for loot and xp.

They should passively generate primal crystals

You can use their eggs to make extraordinary kibble. I hope this helps!

Crystal Wyverns are one of the fastest flyers in the game right now, so always take one of these if you want to snatch a wyvern egg, it makes it so much easier to avoid being attacked by normal wyverns.

The ember is god mode for it’s unlimited Dmg with its fire attack

You won’t need primal crystal to tame them if they aren’t too high level.

Another of people are saying tropicals aren't good for pvp but the water that spew out has a burning/poison effect and with the water buff everyone's its faster and does more damage.

A good place to store Primal Crystals is within its inventory, to extend the decay timer

Tame as many Tropical wyverns as you can and make them follow 1 wyvern. Then you can go on dangerous adventures.

I've seen a few neat idea's for abilities the tropical wyvern could have, since its ability to fly faster above water is very miniscule compared to the other crystal wyverns. To repeat a few neat ideas i found... it should get a speed boost when it's raining, it should be able to land on water (even if just shallow water), or even breath underwater for a slightly longer duration than most creatures (considering its breath ability is essentially spewing out really hot water at enemies). What if it could also glide along the water similar to a pelagornis. Maybe make raw prime fish meat a secondary feeding option (but less effective than crystal).

So sorry, unrelated but does anyone know why on my Xbox one I don’t see crystal isles or valguero I got the better ark with everything included?

PLS HELP IM URGENT! I can’t get my wyverns over 89 lvl and I need them to at least 100 lvl (Need them beefed up to 3000 health so I can beat up some hiers). PLEASE HELP I LOST ALL MY WYVERNS AND I NEED TO AVENGE THEM!

Easiest way to get early extraordinary kibble

So these are a bit weaker than a normal wyvern, but they have their ups. Think of it like this, if a normal wyvern is the Rex of the sky, these are the allosaurus. They don’t have the same dps, but you get added mobility, and they are generally less hazardous to tame! A grapple hook and a stack of crystals will easily secure you your place in the skies!

If you knock out (not kill) a royal crystal wyvern you can collect primal crystals off of it

If your baby gets stuck in the floor after hatching and won’t follow u. Use a cryopod and place it on a better surface.
