Tbh I got a lvl 87 without using primal just hope on ones back and if you have free time just spam the feeding button till your fingers hurt and till the bar if full

If you are trying to tame one there are 2 ways you can tame them the first way the easiest way is to find one and jump on its back and feed it crystals. The next way is the more harder way is to go in the desert and steal there eggs be warned the dragons in the hive are hostile and go faster then normal ones. Inside the nest are cubbies that look like the ones that normal Wyvern eggs spawn in the wyvern trench the cubbies in the crystal wyvern hive. The nest do spawn in there they spawn outside if your stealing egg use a maewing or get a Griffen fly straight up then dive bomb far or get a water crystal wyvern dip the tail in the water to get a boost to fly away.up so noobs can see it

You don’t have to steal these guys eggs, they’re a passive tame and eat crystal. If you go to the desert area and find them they cannot be passive tamed though. You can find the ember wyverns around the volcano which is in the middle, tropical wyverns can be found bottom left of the map, the blood wyverns are to the right of the tropical wyverns and above the desert, they have a smaller area so look for red crystals. These guys are not aggressive (unless you go to the desert I think think) so the only difficult part is finding them and following them. Make sure to be on a flyer

It is very very easy trying to tame one just get a good bunch of crystals and sneak up on it from the back and feed it or jump on it with your flying animal like fly above it then drop down to be on top of it to tame your crystal drago they are really pretty fun to breed

If you take the time trap a low level one and get its primal crystals and finish the passive take with normal crystals it will save you so much time.

Don’t waste your time building a trap they knock out very fast, just net and shoot

Tropical Crystal wyverns are easiest to tame as they are mostly passive unless you hit them, and they land often, letting you on them. They don’t have the large back crystals like the blood crystal wyverns, and -aren’t always aggressive. I still haven’t met ember Crystal wyverns, but tropical are probably easier

Get a army of vultures which spawn right by the cavern and wage war to distract them while you steal a egg.

Incase this is your first wyvern tame, I'd suggest u cryopod your bird b4 taming. It gets to a point where if taming with normal crytals, the wyvern stops striding around and just heads forward. Even your tamer wyvern will be too lazy to keep up. Don't know why

Imagine if each variant of wyvern could break different structures like the poison can damage stone adobe wood and thatch and the ember fire and blood could only damage wood and that I but did more damage to them and lightning could damage wood thatch and stone and deals more damage to wood and the tropical could damage wood thatch and maybe adobe and deals passive damage to wood and thatch because it rots when exposed to rain unless treated of course then it stays the same so hope you like what I thought off and see you :D

Guys these are the easiest things to tame I got 3 in 2 hours a level 130 or below should take about 15 minutes with normal crystal you need about 30 a level 150 takes about 25 min with like 40 crystal

Best way to grind crystal wyvren eggs it’s to watch nooblets stealing crystal wyvern eggs, I built one and the entire server uses it. It works for crystal wyvrens and wyvrens! Good luck building that crystal wyvren army!

For pc aka primal crystals for a lvl 25 it takes 3 crystals so it takes less n not as long as it says

If you are on a server with 10x boosted tame rate you can get just as high taming efficiency with crystal and don't need primal crystals to tame them.

Don't waste your time feeding these things on Ark Events. I have raised an arsenal on 2x's breeding and they actually finish before they starve. Goodluck Survivors!

If they stand still just put 3-4 gates around it and wait till it gets hungry

Most of you probably know this but only female wyvrens give prime crystal not the males. I find that using a net gun and Harpoon to shoot them down really helps. Up if this helped!

Looking to tame a dragon? Great idea! In this tip I will state what I recommend bringing, however it’s entirely up to you what you plan on bringing! I will start with the supplies to consider bringing!; So there’s to ways of taming this dragon I will first state the passive tamable ones! First to tame one of these, they will only eat crystals! Luckily crystals are always at the ready on the map, (assuming you are on crystal isles where they exclusively spawn) They will eat normal crystals, but they prefer primal crystals! That’s basicaly all the supplies you need (I recommend bringing parachutes as well!) now the tamping supplies for the wyvern heirs! These I do not thing are tamable! The only way to tame them is to first steal one of they’re eggs (found exclusively in the desert) If you plan on doing this, I suggest bringing good armor a flying tame (for quick and easy access to a easy egg), make sure your tame is fast, as you have to outrun them to escape! The crystal wyvern heirs also give you access to primal crystals, however the only way to get these is to knock them unconscious and click on them to gather a random amount of primal crystals 50 or lower! The higher the level, and the type of wyvern (the best is ember and blood wyverns) Gives you more crystals, you cannot continue knocking the same wyvern out, because it needs to regenerate crystals (takes around an hour) if you plan on getting primal crystals this is a good option!

If alphas aren’t arround! Now the spawn areas for these guys! :D The passive tamable wyverns spawn up north east, this is where I find them most commonly! The type of wyvern varies! The 2 types of wyverns I found that were passive tamable (not heirs) are the tropical (the most common one) and the blood wyvern (I find these to be quite rare) the heir wyvern nest spawns nestled in the bottom left corner of the map, you should see a desert mountain with strange pillars randomly arround it, the nests spawn on top of the mountain randomly, as well as on top of the pillars! Here is where you will have access to the following eggs; Blood wyvern eggs(uncommon) ember wyvern eggs(very common to find) however I do not think tropical wyvern eggs spawn in the wyvern nest! Now the fun part; If your planning taming the non aggressive wyvern it’s very simple! Step one wait for it to land, this is a very simple task as it lands very often, but not for very long! Next; eithor feed it the crystal and wait for it to become hungry again, or find a way to jump on the back of the wyvern, then feed it the crystal so your practically riding it while it’s taming! Eventually you will have tamed yourself a dragon! I’ll tell you what they’re great for eventually! If you are considering stealing an egg, it’s relatively simple grab you flying tame and look around all the nooks and crannies, pillars, and you will find a egg! Nests look like a regular bird nest except enhance its size by a lot! Wyvern eggs look diffrent compared to a diffrent species of wyvern; the ember wyvern egg is orange on the top, and a pale greenish yellow on the bottom half! The blood wyvern egg, has crimson on the top, and black on the bottom half! The tropical wyvern egg, is actually pretty simple it’s actually two diffrent colors of blue but we will just say it is blue! When hatching these guys do take note they will ONLY eat primal crystal or they will starve, if they get imprinted, they will consume more food to regain health they lost, so when you don’t have very much primal crystal, I recommend to consider taming a daeodon! Once it’s finnaly an adult you now have a crystal wyvern! Now it’s time to tell you what they are good for! :D since there are 3 variety’s of wyvern that I know of, they each have usefull attacks, anyways I will start with the good old tropical wyvern! This wyvern is a very common passive tame, as they are a very good beginners flying tame! They have a breath attack witch proves more affective when in water! It wears of similarly to the spinos! This breath attack does low damage but at a high rate of hits! Also as with every wyvern (that I know of has a knock back ability, this consumes stamina, but it will like the diplo push whatever is in front of it away at the cost of stamina! It’s bite attack is also powerful for a flying tame! All of the crystal wyverns are reasonably faster than any other map’s wyvern! Next is the blood wyvern! ; this has a special breath attack that steals health from any creatures that the attack hits, this will drain a lot of stamina, but will restore half of what was drained from the creature, to your wyvern! Making it a decent battle mount, this breath attack also makes a good use for pvp by easily locating enemy players by draining they’re health and dispatching them quickly! This probably won it be a begginers first wyvern as the passive tamable ones are difficult to find! Finnaly the Ember crystal wyvern!; these will do the most dmg! Happy taming and take care! :D

So im not sure how or why but i was just taming a 140f w reg and primi crystal and at 80% taming started decreasing as of it was damaged, tho it was not. Not looking forna vote juat somethimg to be aware of :/

There is an island bottom left of crystal isles that have them and the only aggro things are dilos and icthyornis the island is good for living it also have metal
