Tip: When at the Wyvern nest, dont go inside, scout around the outer crevasse and you'll find atleast 1 nest, they dont seem to spawn inside the cave for our server and idk if that's just a normal thing but just DONT GO INSIDE, DEATH AWAITS.

These are beasts I tamed 6 of those and dominated the whole world

When taming you do not need a crossbow follow one until ot lands and jump on its wing or tail and run up its body until your standing between its shoulders roughly where you would be if you were riding it there is some room for error in this from there you can feed it crystals and aslong as it doesn't fly into anything that would cause you to be pushed off you will not fall off i have tamed 6 wyverns this way and it is almost to easy

Best tactic in game is to tame one of these bad bois as ur first tame-find a base location near the white shoals or in it- grind until ur on level 65 since that’s when u can tame them- find a decent level- jump on its back near shoulders so it’s harder to fall off- feed crystals until it’s tamed- I got a 150 tamed as my first and bruh it’s so helpful xD

Look up how to make a permanent trap. Get a wyvern trapped. Knock out. Take crystal. Log off before it wakes up. Log back in. Use that prime crystal to tame that some wyvern with 100% efficiency.

There might be an another way to unagro it but I have a base next to my trap so it isn't that big of a deal.

Keep a little of normal crystal in inventory just in case.

go to the Dragon Island so I can get a dragon egg

They seems to break aggro easily. I have them stop attacking right after hitting me. No idea why this happens.

Says 15 for max level but 14 did it for me. Wish they had a definitive time they recharge crystals.

If you it wont stop its agro knock it out take its crystals and knock it out again you will be good to go

You can use a tropical wyvern to get away from the wyverns pretty easily after you steal a egg went you use the water buff.

Wyvern heirs gave me twice the amount of crystal as their normal counter part but take waaaaay more tranqs

No food needed, they dont eat much

Tips for farming primal crystal:

1. Get a high HP mount in which you can shoot on

(I use a 7k HP Gryphon)

2. Bring enough arrows to tranq (arrows are recommend because taming effectiveness is irrelevant / you may miss shots so cohsr cheaper option)

3. Knock it out, gather its PC and set a timer (1hr 10 mins) and wait for crystal to light up again.

4. Repeat

For everyone struggling with hatching eggs!

You need to place 15 fireplaces (or more in cold areas or cold nights) in circle with only small way to get inside without burning yourself. Those 15 fireplaces give enough warm to hatch wyvern egg ;)

For tropical, try to get on it's back. It won't attack so this method is good. Hope this helps. Happy taming!

Make sure u have at least 50 standing torches when u have eggy

Hear me out ok.... jump on the wyverns head and feed it. It will fly off and as long as you dont hit a tree and have your bird follow you'll stay on the wyvern head able to feed it

Baby wyverns have to be at .3% -.5% in order to take a primal crystal cuz primal crystals weigh 1 lb. they take forever to eat them tho so they’ll be fine outside for a while

Can have lighting and is very aggressive and stubborn
