Blood: gmsummon “crystalwyvern_character_bp_blood_c” *whatever level

And for last just do bp_ember_ c

I have no idea if this will work on Xbox or pc.

Hello, I am Ajdin_1103 I will be your guide on this chapter about "Encoutering" which will be 2 parts firsy one Battling and second part escaping

Lets start our jurney thru this guide

Battling: do NOT attempt fighting large groups on foot, if you are forced to fight on foot go to the water, if you have your own wyvern try fighting other wyvern with element exact to your wyvern, if on mannagamr, freaze them all from a distance and then attemt combat, if you want to steal eggs with efficency/ clear spawns for alpha version, you need minimun 2-5 guys (1 if you are truly skilled, more would be waste of resources) also 1-3 wyverns/mannagamrs and at least 1-2 gigas

Note: unlike normal wyverns, crystal wyverns second attack (blood, water or ember) won't hurt your tribe members or tames

Unable to Incubate Wyvern Egg.

In PC I think putting the egg near fire doesn't work( at least for me ) the hatches automatically after is laid we don't need to do anything ( for other dinos ) but for Wyvern it is not happening. Tried putting an egg near fire it doesn't work.

Even health and Incubation are un-affected

Please give some advice.

New way of getting primal crystal

Get them to aggro on you and make sure their head is in the middle of the Dino gate. Get a snow owl or mana (easier to tame on gen 2, good luck on lost island if you don’t have the DLCs). Freeze them and quickly go around the back and put another gate.

Wanna be more risky?

Try using the stegosaurus’ impale ability, if it works on the wyvern, it should land and walk to you.

Not sure if this applies to every type of wyvren including the other subtypes and general wild ones, and perhaps I just stumbled on some lucky glitch, but to easily kill specifically a tamed, unridden tropical crystal wyvren is to just crouch and shoot arrows at it, as it cannot reach the ground enough to bite while you shoot it from below. This is perfect for especially low-level survivors to take out enemy tribal wyvrens that have no riders on them to activate their special abilities, and endlessly loop above you but failing to damage you if crouched. Just accidentally discovered this on The Island and was on a pretty flat piece of land so not sure how elevation plays into it. This is my first post here and any positive attention is appreciated. If done right, you can trap one of these with 2 regular dino gates. Put one right in front and one right behind the wings, with the opening over the body

While raising they need primal crystal as juveniles now, too. I could have sworn they could eat regular crustal as juveniles before. But yeah. Make sure you have a couple on-hand to give it before you log off for the night.

No one’s wrote this down yet, but if you use a grappling hook with a crossbow on the crystal wyverns it doesn’t hurt them, and you can’t fall off. Although you do have a chance to take fall damage when you hit their wings so use this at your own risk.

Tropical crystal wyvern are so fast with the hydration and can fly across the map in minutes as well as deal with any threat

It is best to jump on their backs to tame but you need to remember to have Parachute and to be proned. To knock out just know, they can shoot their breath through walls.

When I say these guys are good beginning tames I’m not joking I will do the note run tame a pego get flak armor get a metal pick go to crystal and tame one of these bad boys then go on from then

The first time I went to tame one of these guys, I accidentally hit it defending myself. It killed my tames, I reccomend keeping tabs on your surroundings even for a passive tame like this. Don't make the same mistake I did.

If you hatch in any breeding event and you have good food you won’t even need to feed it

If you don't know you can trap a wyvern with behemoth stone gates ( Knock it out first/chain bola it and you need at least 2 or 3 gate for it) then make the trap like you would for normal wyverns for their milk. Hope this helps.

Don’t need milk or crystal when their health gets low heal with owl

These are kinda an early to midgame/niche tame imo. I've bred several hundred and have my stats about as good as I can get them but they are out performed in boss fights by my boss argies with top saddles and weight bred tropeos blow them away for utility. Which is disappointing because they are a fun dino.

I tamed a 150 tropical by siting on its back whilst it was flying and i used 9 crystals with a taming effectiveness of 10.
