Encountering Tips

How do I kill a crystal wyvern? crystal wyvern battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
There are desert ones but in order to tame one you need to steal an egg ;).
Is this normal? Male Crystal wyvern didn’t attack me. I went right up to him and nothing.
I found one crystal wyvern but no eggs I need help
OK look if you find an heir. DO NOT LET IT SEE YOU OR YOUR PET! IT WILL KILL YOU FASTER THAN A GRIFFEN.
Hello, I am Ajdin_1103 I will be your guide on this chapter about "Encoutering" which will be 2 parts firsy one Battling and second part escaping
Lets start our jurney thru this guide
Battling: do NOT attempt fighting large groups on foot, if you are forced to fight on foot go to the water, if you have your own wyvern try fighting other wyvern with element exact to your wyvern, if on mannagamr, freaze them all from a distance and then attemt combat, if you want to steal eggs with efficency/ clear spawns for alpha version, you need minimun 2-5 guys (1 if you are truly skilled, more would be waste of resources) also 1-3 wyverns/mannagamrs and at least 1-2 gigas
Note: unlike normal wyverns, crystal wyverns second attack (blood, water or ember) won't hurt your tribe members or tames
Thats it for this part 1 of the guide, i hope you fimd it helpfull, pardon me for my poor choice of words aka bad english, part 2 will be in seperated Tip, I'm Ajdin_1103 and this is chapter about "Encoutering"
Not sure if this applies to every type of wyvren including the other subtypes and general wild ones, and perhaps I just stumbled on some lucky glitch, but to easily kill specifically a tamed, unridden tropical crystal wyvren is to just crouch and shoot arrows at it, as it cannot reach the ground enough to bite while you shoot it from below. This is perfect for especially low-level survivors to take out enemy tribal wyvrens that have no riders on them to activate their special abilities, and endlessly loop above you but failing to damage you if crouched. Just accidentally discovered this on The Island and was on a pretty flat piece of land so not sure how elevation plays into it. This is my first post here and any positive attention is appreciated. Thanks!

You need a plan if your going to confront a cristal wyvern
The first time I went to tame one of these guys, I accidentally hit it defending myself. It killed my tames, I reccomend keeping tabs on your surroundings even for a passive tame like this. Don't make the same mistake I did.
GET seekers in raiding a cave and hope the fight to the death
I just started on this map and in 5 minutes I saw one it was the blood wyvern level 5 and it didn’t attack me ( i don’t now how to tame it)then it flew away😥
If you go for eggs, keep in mind that they're faster than your normal wyvern. If you're not prepared to kill your pursuers, they will chase you for over half the map. Yikes just passive tame these things

Good tip for when ur engaging in a fight with a heavy turret camper.
-Fight in a pack and dont get split up as the turret cannot go for more than 1 target, it will always go for the closest one.
-Charge the turret camper together whilst constantly pressing the sprint button so the turret can balance out the damage between you as you will constantly be getting closer and further away and you should be able to pick the person if he doesnt move
You must be level 65 to attempt to tame tropical wyverns
How come these are breedable but normal wyverns are not ? You literly steal the egg of a normal wyvern so it would make a lot more sense if they where both breedable or just the normal wyverns where breedable.
Crystal Wyvern Info:
LOOKS: These wyverns have 3 different types (So far), they are all different and unique. Starting with the Blood Crystal Wyverns; These Wyverns come in different shades of red and sometimes have a pink color to them, their Alpha/Queen is most of the time white and sometimes have a touch of pink/red, they have a red trail and are larger than other Blood Crystal Wyverns. Tropical Crystal Wyverns have more of a jungle-y look to them and have brighter colors than the rest of the Wyverns, they are usually easy to tell the difference between the other Wyverns due to their looks. To what I know, their Queen/Alpha is just like the other Alpha/Queen Wyverns and larger than the other ones. Moving onto the last Crystal Wyvern type, the Ember Crystal Wyvern; These Crystal Wyverns are quite similar to Fire Wyverns but also quite different in ways, their colors are usually yellow-ish to a brown-orange, into regular orange. They are also (From My Knowledge), aggressive, like the Blood Crystal Wyverns. Their Alpha/Queen is larger and also has a trail like the other Alpha/Queen Wyverns you see on ARK.
ABILITIES: Starting off from the top is Blood Crystal Wyverns; They have a red beam that comes out of their mouth when they are stealing your health, it damages you and heals the Wyvern so you must be careful when you’re approaching them. The alphas are the same but maybe a bit stronger. Moving onto Tropical Crystal Wyverns; These Wyverns have the ability to shoot hot acid at you, damaging your tame several times in a row when hit, but, unlike any other Wyverns, they also have the ability to get a buff (if tamed) when touches water and that effects their Health, Melee, Speed and Ect! The Alphas/Queens are just stronger than regular Wyverns. Lastly, we have the Ember Crystal Wyverns; These Wyverns, like Fire Wyverns, breathe fire at enemies, dealing damage several times in a row once hit, unlike Fire Wyverns, along side that ability is a multiplier that makes each time they breathe fire much much more powerful once hitting the target! Eventually that causes the fire to change their colors each and every time, more slightly to a blue color, which, I find quite unique compared to other Wyverns! The Alpha/Queens are (AGAINNNNN) stronger than other Wyverns.
END:
I hope this helps! I’m sorry that I did not add more things like Taming and Egg Stealing but maybe next time I will! I hope you now know your Wyverns!
