You can climb on the back of crystal wyverns and it would make it alot easier, knocking out crystal wyverns give primal crystal which makes taming alot quicker.

If you are having trouble getting them to follow into a trap, use a different type of wyvern and breathe on them. They'll chase you across the map.

Is there anyone having trouble finding the crystal wyvern nests with eggs lately? I play in solo mode and can’t find any! Usually 1 nest at a time, and I never found a tropical one, just ember and blood eggs. Saw some people complaining about this on yt.

To tame any level one of these just hop on its back. To do so, just run up it wing and you will glitch on to its back. Then, get right in between its shoulder blades and crouch. Now, you can easily tame the Wyvern without ever having to move! Have fun with it. Using this strategy, I’ve tamed two. (I’ve only ever tamed two in my whole life so.....)

You can use their eggs for EXTRAORDINARY KIBBLE instead of finding yutu or hesperonis, plus they're super easy to tame

This tip is what I do to tame them all you do is get crystal and feed it but you have to jump on its back first

Taming;

First you need to figure out what to feed it! You have an option of prime crystals (will talk about later) and crystal. Crystals are farmed from a giant teal stone, while prime crystals are from other Crystal wyverns. To obtain this, you must knock out a crystal wyvern, then you walk up to it and click E (for PC) you will collect some of this! (Prime Crystals are like prime meat!)

Now you need to find a crystal wyvern! Now don’t fear, because they are the only types of wyverns that are passive, but don’t hit them, because they bite!

(They can be found easier at night because they glow)

Now you need to put your crystals on 0 on your hot bar. Then you need to climb on it’s back you can do this from the tail or wing. Now you need to belly-crouch in between its shoulder blades. Then you feed it. It will shoot strait up into the air, but when between the shoulder blades, it allows you to not fall off (Still very dangerous!!!!) After a while you’ll tame your very own crystal wyvern! (You can only tame at level 65) Happy taming!

If you go for eggs, keep in mind that they're faster than your normal wyvern. If you're not prepared to kill your pursuers, they will chase you for over half the map. Yikes just passive tame these things

Super easy... Yep... Just bring 50 Crystals (if low level) and bring 110 Crystals (if high level) and wait until its landed and go run super speed and jump on its back. Feed Crystals and continue until its tamed. Primal Crystal: Grab a Grappling Hook with Crossbow then shoot it and knock it out with Darts then Parachute yourself then land. Last thing to do open its inventory then enjoy your 5 Primal Crystals per-wyvern.

If you grapple to it when you tame it, it won't fly away. I got two ember wyverns on my first try doing it like that.

Also they cant be tamed in traps on official at least as once you leave render to deaggro they glitch out of the trap.

The baby has enough food to last it through the first 2 imprints so thats about 16 hours you have until you you have to start feeding it primal crystal.

Once the food is at half taming starts to decrease.

Somebody said it is possible to feed them with meat if they are at teenage thats wrong if you want to have crystals easy pull an wyvern in a trap where you can fly out with an pteranodon and close the gate then get out of range and shoot it down with darts it needs more or less 1 in-game day (~50min) to recharge the crystals

Fun fact males do give the primal Crystal's. Another fun fact if you us the gate method of trapping them, I suggest you jump on their backs wait for them to land and then place the gates to prevent them from flying away. I did both these things in single player and it worked both times.

bloodstalkers are best for these guys for when your trying to get the eggs in the desert in crystal island because you grab egg you spider man out because you just go freacking sonic when youse the grabble wep things

Easy tame, grab egg and run for your life, use crystals when its hatched, to incubate i used 3 fireplaces and 12 campfires to hatch, make sure to use double doors to incubate if your doing it in a large room

Tropical crystal wyverns get a water buff

Blood crystal wyverns gains health with breath attack but does less damage

Amber crystal wyverns breath attack does more damage the longer u do it
