U have to have chitin in inventory and plant species z seeds or chitin in last item slot

Plant species z seed is more effective

1First wait for it to dance and light up

2feed it

3 it will flee and start a small game of red light green light

4 when it’s red and hiding don’t move otherwise it ends taming and u will have to start over

5 move up to it when the light is white( always be cautious )

6 when you are up to it feed it

7 repeat steps 3-6 until tamed

Mostly spawns in blue zone ☝️If helpful

Keep chitin in your inventory to lure it to you like a ferox then feed it plant z seeds to passive tame. If you see a red light around it keep your distance and once it's light turns white you should be safe to feed it again. Happy hunting!

So basically you feed it chitin for the initial feeding then play a game of red light green light with it. It will build a mound and the area around it will be red. When it turns green you can run towards it, but if it turns red again then stop or it will web you. You will have to feed it a few times like any other thar you tame this way. After it's tamed you can shoulder it or put it on your wrist to shoot webs or swing from trees.

I just found one of these little guys while riding on my Para, it showed up as hostile when I use the Para's detect ability, when I saw it I came to this app in hopes to find clues on how to tame it but sadly I didn't really see any taming tips. How I tame the one I found was that I crouched and it made a little dance with a little be of light and asked for chitin in the last slot for passive taming. This is my first post on this app ever. To tame one you need to get its food walk to it wait until it glows then feed it to start a minigame of red light Green light when red dont move or it well web you and start all over Again when green light walk for it and feed it, after every feed it well jump to somewhere else don't follow it because it well keep geting away so after every feed stop moving, hope this helped you.

If raising, you can use basic kibble to raise it that way if you don't have seeds. Place 1 kibble with meat in the inventory and it will eat the meat on it's own.

To tame it you gotta play red light green light and feed it

Approach with Chitin in your inventory, and Z seed in last slot of hot bar.

He'll do a dance, you can feed him, then back away and wait for red light green light game, during red light do not move.

Must have chitin in your inventory. They'll walk up to you like a sino and do a little dance making the light behind them green. That's when you walk up to it and feed it a plant z seed or chitin. Plant z seed is preferred food then chitin then mushroom. Plant z seeds tame them instantly. If you do not tame it first time it's light will glow red and then you basically play red light green light. Red light don't move green light feed.

You have to play red light green light with it! It is a passive tame, and it takes chitin to tame. It will flee from you and make a red light/green light zone around it. You have to run up to it when its 'green light' or it will flee and spit webs at you.

Basically you have a light pet turned on, got to be on for the whole duration of passive tame with chitin (idk kibble yet), then you play red light green light with it. Red you stop green you try and run to it and feed it. It'll then hop around to find a new spot. Don't move while it does this as I think it drops taming progress hugely. Bit hard if it jumps out of render distance as servers are so new Dino's don't spawn in very far ahead

1) Collect Chitin

2) find a cosmo. Sometimes you can find them dangling under rock overhangs

3) approach the cosmo and wait, it’ll scurry off quickly

4) it will either illuminate the area around it red or green. It’s playing red light green light with you. When the light is red, don’t move and when it’s green run towards it and feed it.

5) rinse and repeat until tamed. You do not need a light pet to tame one or to start the taming mini game. Have fun web slinging.

Plant z seed is instant tame.

You can tame with chitin and plant z seeds it plays a game of red light "green" light its yellow and red but it's a passive tame

When the light is red you cannot move, but when it is green you can passive feed it Chitin.

Taming Cosmo can be a blast. But make sure to have Chitin ready on hand! To tame a cosmo

1. Make sure the area is clear of any potential threats.

2. Crouch near the Cosmo

3. When the Cosmo lights up start heading towards it, but be careful, as soon as it turns to red, stop dead. Otherwise you will be webbed.

4. Red light, Green light until it’s tamed!

Babies eat all kind of seeds, not only Z. But they eat alot!

It is a passive tame it’s favorite thing to eat is the plant Z seed

Cosmo can be found in the green zone, I've had the best luck near the fertile lake. Creature finder mods help, as these things are tiny. To tame, approach it with chitin in your inventory. Wait until it starts to glow, then passively feed it chitin or plant species z seeds. (Z seeds are the best). Once tamed, you can put it on your shoulder and turn it into an item. To swing, equip cosmo item and enjoy. Webs recharge automatically, and from my experience capacity can not be leveled but can increase the higher level the tame. (Level 25 was about 20 capacity, and level 100 was about 40)
