A difficult solo tame: have 10-20 narcotics in small stacks ready to go in your inventory, take out something that effectively collects prime. Collect said prime then walk along coasts or waterways until the compy's find you. Knock them out right next to your creature, dose up with a couple narcotics then move the prime as fast as possible from creature to compy. Using 1-4 narcotics in between moving items

Utilize preserving salt from Scorched Earth to double the prime meat spoil timer. Love the Pelagornis, then you'll need lots of Compys.

String fast and fun

I hunt for prime using a spino, separate the Compy I want and kill the others, hit the remaining one with electric prod for instant KO and load with prime and narcs or narcoberries

To tame simply kill the others, harvest REALLY fast, knock the other (leave 1) and you have a compy

Just hit it with a bat then u can tame it duh

There's things are unconscious for a very very short time, maybe less than a minute so be quick and use a narcotic if necessary

Tame them for comfort, luxury, and companionship. Other than that, don’t even bother taming them. Their stats and utility are horrible. They are basically dodos, except more aggressive and cute to some people.

If you want to tame them, knock out with a bat. Feed it a few primes, and put in some nacros. Be quick, this creature wakes up fast. Try to isolate it from the pack.
