Why does it's egg count as small but parasaur and dilo eggs count as extra small compys eggs are bigger than it is!

While many say the humble compsognathus is a useless creature,

This could actually not be further from the truth!

They have the strange ability to get much more meat from animals than most creatures their size, this coupled with with their portability makes them ideal taming companions before cryopods are available.

They also can be incredibly powerful in swarms, some have said they can kill an allo with about fourty, couple twenty complies with five of their aerial counterpart the dimorphodon, and you have a brilliant combat group capable of taking down almost anything.

And lastly, they are simply brilliant companions.

If you are interested in taming a compy they only eat prime meat.

They will not eat raw meat.

Very dangerous, very annoying. Also kinda cute. This is the compy, or compsognathus. It is a pack dino, which means it gets a pack bonus if there are other compies around. They are very small, which means if you attack one, others could quickly stream out of the small berry plants. However, they are relatively slow and quite low on health, so if many threaten you, don't bother fighting them. 1. Because it's a bad idea for new/low lvl players. 2. Because they barely give any hide or meat

Alone, you may cause me to scurry

I found one then I knocked it out and it wouldn’t eat my meat and I raged and killed it. 2 weeks later I get Dododex. And read prime only

Purpose on single player: little house pet/completionist tame/filler

Purpose on multi player: throw c4 on them, set on aggressive wander, swarm enemies base( explode when necessary)

I’m going to sound like a moron for this but hear me out.

This is one of the most useful early, middle, AND endgame tames.

The reason I say this is because if you:

Get it to a high level,

Set all points into health,

Set on aggro,

Carry with you while moving or riding,

Then drop it if you get chased by a big scary thing,

You can evade

ANY

ARK

CREATURE.

Not really a "Utility" tame. But if you play on servers, tame a really big and strong pack of compys and send them to attack a unsuspecting victim. Also dont lie. The only reason your reading this is because your looking for a reason to tame them, so just tame one.. or two... Maybe even 300.

Pls read not many people know this!!! Did you know that if you equip a comp on your shoulder, then you get a weight reduction.

Remember once they are tamed they'll eat normal raw meat so you don't have to get more prime or mutton :>

I just want to send compys after the person who made compys see how we feel

Don’t ask how I know this

A single Compy is never an issue. Due to there curious nature of humans they'll walk right up to you and observe you without hostility. But after they see you they will send out a call to nearby Campus beckoning them. Once another Compy is close enough to get a pack bonus they loose there neutral mentality and the pack mind takes over and they become hostile to beware of multiple Compys.

Compy armies are a wonderful thing. Since they gain a bonus from being near each other, it makes it decently easy to cause chaos.

Are they tame-able!??!?! I tried to shoot one
