So, me and my tribemate were playing on the island as he was relatively new and I was showing him about. Then, I crafted a Tapejara saddle and we snook up on a Tapejara, bolad and tranqed it. After that, we located a Spino close to spawn and with him in the back seat of the Tapejara and me piloting it, we latched to some walls, flew around it all the while pelting it with Tranq arrows. We finally knocked it out and I took out a few Sarcos that were nearby with my crossbow. Then, we found a Theri egg but no Theri and I realised we could make exceptional kibble so we quickly flew back to our nearby base. After we had made the kibble and were flying back, the taming tracker disappeared. I put it down to the fact that I was looking directly at the tracker (for me it glitches out whenever I look at it) but we arrived at the scene to find a dead Spino who’s body was being harvested by 4 Compys. Little blighters ruined the tame and made my friend upset because Spinosaurus is his favourite Dino. Then he went on a Compy massacre.

I wondered what they look like with an arrow in their head i shot him with a tranq and ran away and fell asleep 3 feet from me

These Idiots just dont stop they fricking attacked my lvl250 carno

To me, compies are just annoyances. They have pitiful damage, speed and health. No special ability at all. You can outwalk, and easily outrun them. Even a noob with fists can kill low level ones. Heck, even dodos can kill them. (tamed ones)

These things suck trying to kill

Every time a compy is seen, this is what I think… SRIVEL UP AND BLOW AWAY SHRIMP there pests is what I mean.

They will kill your full level only health T. rex with armor in seconds.

If you don't have a spear with you, crouch and smack it with your axe.(same goes with ground bugs. Flying bugs, Crouch then stand up whack em then crouch and whack)

acts like I tamed it even though I didn't

WARNING: do not trust or get near these mongrils. They will trick you so you trust them, then they attack you. So beware! And bring weapons when trying to tame dinos in case of a compy encounter!

These things will just stare at you they only attack in groups of 2+ not to dangerous only in large groups there danger

These things only eat prime

And fish prime

Oh and also mutton

I wachd a few reck a carno. and they ruind me taming a tap when my dire wolf tride to help

When encountered in groups they will attack I found it easy to use a raft and go around them but they will attack you when u come to shore

You could mostly find compys on the beach

Don’t bother running when it’s a loner, one punch will kill it. When their in packs, just grab a club or slingshot and attack. The compie’s do no damage basically

They are a pain because when there's one there is more

Although they are weak they often hunt in packs of 2-4 which can make them a mild threat to low lvl players

I found one strolling around one day while I had some prime meat in my hot bar, and I was like AWWWW WHAT A CUTE LITTLE DINOSAUR and it just stood there and stared at me. It was unsettling.

Then I punched it in the face to see what would happen. It did nothing.

Then I started to see a second compy and a third. And fourth. And fifth. They all stared at me. I was now getting very unsettled once again.then slowly, they started shoving me. And I was like THATS ALL UR GONNA DO TO ME? Then seconds after I said that, they attacked me. And no, of course I didn’t DIE, because they were only level five compys. And I was level twenty. After that, I went back to my base to feed my raptors some meat and had some sweet sweet extra hide.

Really Annoying and sometimes a stalker
