They are no problem fighting. However, they can knock you off cliffs. I saw a compy go shooting down a cliff, right where I was half a second ago. Don’t even try to tame. Carry a dimorphodon or a vulture on your shoulder as compy repellent.

If you find one, say hi to it

Find two, bonk them with a bat

Find three, put up a good fight

Find four, try your best

Find five, RUN

I forgot to add to my compys aren't useless rant that they also get a pack bonus which goes up to packs of 8 I believe. And their scouting ability makes them a beginner troodon imo

Nasty little buggers if there are about 10 I would suggest to run

Aww cute litte thing at first but it bites and more and more come and they kill u unless you have any metal wepon or worse or better y'know imagine your player in jurassic park 3 yeah they will hang up say by to any passave mounts

These cute little things follows you around when your not it’s owner. These guys are the smallest helpers. R.I.P to maxie my pet who got killed by a raptors maxie was lvl 78 and was pretty much strong but sadly he died 😅

Compys are the weakest dino in ark and you can kill them with your fist in only a few seconds. So you won't have to worry about dieing

If u want to avoid a compy, look at it and it will run away WARNING: This wil NOT work when there are more than one of them

Another tip for you noobs

These things are freaking op when they’re high level

They’re so small you don’t see them until they hit you

Just punch it. It’s not that hard. Also these are pretty much useless unless they have high damage and you have a bunch of them.

Up if compies are very annoying

I find the easiest way to deal with these things if you don't want to tame them is to punch or club them unconscious and then kill them while they are knocked out.

They may seem cute and friendly but they are annoying little things and want to eat it

If you ever find a Compy then make sure you have enough spears to kill them, but if not you can easily run away for they are not fast.

I have no idea why this compy run away when nearly dying and get near the water at the same I don't know it's hate water or when it's HP low it's running away but it come back! when I'm nearly dying too even I in the water finish me to death this extremely unfair for me I a challenge don't die in ark ultimate edition.
