These little jerks. I was still a noob with a straw base and some dilos and a raptor. I went up a hill close to my base ( the closest mining spot around…TONS of ores!) and these li’l a**holes started attacking me and slamming me against a tree…there seemed to be thousands…I killed them and they just kept coming. Eventually I got the chance to run and I went up the hill into the forest and…well…I fell off a cliff. But a small one! And I survived. But those guys also survived and ALL of them chased me. Eventually I lost ‘‘em and reached a swamp-ish area. Not the one near the redwoods (I was on “the island”) but one just…smack dab in the middle of nowhere. I laughed at my victory!…but I had lost my way to home. I looked and looked. But alas…I lost it. Luckily I didn’t have any high loot with me on that mining hike. Because after a while I just built a campfire and sat there…until a sarco jumped behind me from nowhere at all and killed me. That’s my adventure of the day.

Where there's one, more will slowly spawn in. They won't attack you unless in a group of two or more. The bigger the crowd, the more damage they do.
Warning: If you hear one near you it won't attack, but just know there will be more and THEY will eat your toes!

If you are a low level and one of these runs up to you, don’t move. Don’t move or attack it. Just watch it. Don’t look away. It will run after a minute, probably (has happened to me) for reinforcements. When it does, turn around and RUN. if you want to tame one, bola it or it WILL get reinforcements! Up this for tiny low levels!

Very dangerous, very annoying. Also kinda cute. This is the compy, or compsognathus. It is a pack dino, which means it gets a pack bonus if there are other compies around. They are very small, which means if you attack one, others could quickly stream out of the small berry plants. However, they are relatively slow and quite low on health, so if many threaten you, don't bother fighting them. 1. Because it's a bad idea for new/low lvl players. 2. Because they barely give any hide or meat
