Compys are useless they only eat prime and do nothing mine died to a enemy dodo lol 1.

DO NOT TAME THIS! It is so useless and expensive. You feed it prime meat and all it does is sit on your back.

They are really useless. But, I own a Compy named coral, and i've had her for SO long. They are VERY loyal.

How to tame: bola, 15x soothing balm, ascendant long neck rifle, 1 shocking tranq bullet, 1 bio toxin, 1-2 raw prime meat, and quetzal is necessary.

1. Bola the compy and watch out for any other compys.

2. Tranq the compy out with the rifle.

3. Feed the compy the 15x soothing balm, 1-2 prime meat, and bio toxin if necessary.

4. Carry the compy with the quetzal to your base.

I knocked mine out and put cooked fish meat in its inventory a couple of times and it was tamed.

These little jerks. I was still a noob with a straw base and some dilos and a raptor. I went up a hill close to my base ( the closest mining spot around…TONS of ores!) and these li’l a**holes started attacking me and slamming me against a tree…there seemed to be thousands…I killed them and they just kept coming. Eventually I got the chance to run and I went up the hill into the forest and…well…I fell off a cliff. But a small one! And I survived. But those guys also survived and ALL of them chased me. Eventually I lost ‘‘em and reached a swamp-ish area. Not the one near the redwoods (I was on “the island”) but one just…smack dab in the middle of nowhere. I laughed at my victory!…but I had lost my way to home. I looked and looked. But alas…I lost it. Luckily I didn’t have any high loot with me on that mining hike. Because after a while I just built a campfire and sat there…until a sarco jumped behind me from nowhere at all and killed me. That’s my adventure of the day.

They produce small eggs. Bigger eggs then the parasaur which is dumb however if you happen to spawn close to a Leetchy you can use the prime fish to tame a few females to egg farm. They are small enough so you can have quite a bit of food and simple kibble is ez enough to make. Also if you're far away you can throw it on your shoulder to bring it back home. Simple kibble is good for alot of starter tames.

The compy (s) are used for rearing, they give a probability of twins or trinkets to the egg and the more compys found, the more possibility there will be that twins or trinkets are born.

Don’t even bother trying to tame that little b**ch when it wants a hunk of meat bigger than it is. Just use forcetame, the simple solution to passive taming anything from wyverns to newts
