Punch it, that’s all that is necessary to knock it out.

Don’t bother running when it’s a loner, one punch will kill it. When their in packs, just grab a club or slingshot and attack. The compie’s do no damage basically

They are a pain because when there's one there is more

Not worth taming unless you can manage taking care of 3 or more.

Although they are weak they often hunt in packs of 2-4 which can make them a mild threat to low lvl players

Walk around collecting prime on a dino, then whilst doing this, look out for compys. When you find some, knock them out and use the prime you have been gathering, works best with Rex,gigs,quetz,allo,wyverns , argy and dire wolf.

Find a pack of Compys and lure them to your base/taming pen. When they are trapped in the pen, keep them there, and take a high level flier or carnivore out and kill Stegos or Brontos for prime meat. Hurry back to the Compys, knock them out, and put the meat in quickly. Make sure you have enough. They tame very quickly.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I found one strolling around one day while I had some prime meat in my hot bar, and I was like AWWWW WHAT A CUTE LITTLE DINOSAUR and it just stood there and stared at me. It was unsettling.

Then I punched it in the face to see what would happen. It did nothing.

Then I started to see a second compy and a third. And fourth. And fifth. They all stared at me. I was now getting very unsettled once again.then slowly, they started shoving me. And I was like THATS ALL UR GONNA DO TO ME? Then seconds after I said that, they attacked me. And no, of course I didn’t DIE, because they were only level five compys. And I was level twenty. After that, I went back to my base to feed my raptors some meat and had some sweet sweet extra hide.

If there are more than one than they will attack, but if there is only one they won't.

If you have a argie and are near a swamp, just kill one of those big elephant-giraffe things real quick and knock out the compy.

Here’s how to tame a compy

Step 1 kill baby’s or big Dino’s to get prime meat (they only eat prime meat)

Step 2 find a pack of compys and knock them out (or the one you want to tame )

Step 3 HAVE NARCOTIC THEY WAKE UP FAST

Step 4 feed it the prime meat

Step 5 tame more

You could have a couple copies on aggressive lowest range having wander on, inside your base, have a pack of raptors on attack your target just sitting inside of a large base, if someone gets near your base, the compys find them and attack, aggroing the raptors
