Chapter 41: Principal, Principles
Part 3/3
“I managed to find two caves with Slackjaw,” Mr. Mo said, “Ah the wonders of an Argentavis. They can fly for so long and they can tough it through even the harshest of cold. Anyway, I decided to check out both.”
Mr. Mo pointed at the cave east.
“One’s absolutely infested with creatures. Polar Bears, Purlovias, Yetis, you name it it’s probably there. There’s no way we’d survive there, even if we brought everyone. It’d be a suicide mission. We’d need a powerful tame.”
“Okay, that’s a no go, but why’d we even want to go there in the first place? Spelunking never went well back home,” Loki said.
“You’re right on that. I didn’t even care about the caves at first. That was, until I felt that surge of power flow through my veins.”
“What… Do you mean by that?” Loki asked.
“When I stepped foot in the cave I felt something humming within my bones. It felt so powerful and radiant. I almost decided to just book it and go in to figure out the source, but I managed to control myself. Plus, why else would there be creatures in that cave, standing together in unison, instead of going at each other’s throats?”
Loki’s eyes widened.
“They’re guarding something.”
“Exactly,” Mr. Mo decided, “Which is why we’re going to the second cave.”
Mr. Mo tossed his pen on the desk.
“It’s a tight squeeze in there, but that’s exactly what’s leading me to believe there’ll be no creatures to tear us to shreds. Perfect opportunity for the two of us to go.”
“Wait, you want ME to go?” Loki asked, astonished. Mr. Mo gave him a warm smile.
“Of course Loki. I trust you more than anyone else here, maybe even moreso than Dr. Aston, and he’s been my employee for years. You’re bright and have a good heart. And you’re a talented writer. Why wouldn’t I want you to go?”
Loki smiled, and began to laugh.
“Thanks Mr. Mo, thanks a lot,” Loki said.
Mr. Mo let out a groan as he got up from his seat, stretching his body back and forth. Even though he knew so much, he was still old and not as nimble as he used to be.
“Awwright let’s go get some supper. I’m famished,” Mr. Mo said, walking out his office.
“Wait, one more thing!” Loki called out. Mr. Mo turned around, putting his hands in his pockets.
“What would that be, Loki?” Mr. Mo asked.
“I was just wondering… How do you know so much about this place? How do you even know how to survive?” Loki questioned the thought on his mind for quite a while. Mr. Mo smiled, turning around and ignoring his question.
“I’ll tell you one day, Loki. That’s for you to uncover on your own.”

Part 2/3
Loki, respecting Mr. Mo’s wishes, snapped his fingers at Monarch.
“Go to the pens,” Loki ordered. Monarch wordlessly took off into the sky and began to fly over to a few pens made of wood.
With that, Loki began to run after Mr. Mo.
“Hold on now, slow down for me will ‘ya?”
Mr. Mo turned around and flashed Loki a grin, he walked back and gave him a professional noogie.
“Ahh you little bugger, I’m never gonna leave you behind. That’s a promise. Or maybe you’re just too slow.”
The two walked together to the compound, and as they opened the double doors, they were greeted with the smell of burnt wood and chalky nothingness. It was surprisingly clean inside the facility, and blue banners were hung along the side of the wall. Tables were lined up along the walls, with mortars and pestles and anvils and smithies for creating weaponry and dinosaur saddles. A man wearing a white lab coat and wearing safety goggles was snoozing on a chair, his snores carrying out throughout the entire building like a Tyrannosaurus. He was resting his head on the table. A jar of water laid untouched on the table.
“Oh gosh, Dr. Aston’s fallen asleep,” Mr. Mo whispered.
“Should we wake him up?” Loki asked with a raised eyebrow.
“No. No, let’s let him get his rest,” Mr. Mo replied.
The two walked into Mr. Mo’s office, and Mr. Mo took a seat at his desk, Loki taking a seat on the chair opposite of him. Loki’s eyes darted around the office. There was a map of the snowy tundra on the wall behind Mr. Mo, a few wooden crates that were stacked up in the corner of the room, and a small notepad on Mr. Mo’s desk that had a leather bind. A small, old pen lay dormant on the desk.
“So why don’t you go first,” Mr. Mo said, blinking his right eye, “Anything ya’ found on the scouting mission?”
Loki seemed hesitant to tell him. Hesitant to tell him what he did to that group of travelers. The ones investigating the green Obelisk. He felt his hands get clammy, and decided against it.
“I-I did find something,” Loki admitted, “North of the Redwood Forests. A duo were taming a Tyrannosaurus. They seemed like they knew what they were doing. Probably Knowers.”
A frown grew on Mr. Mo’s face. He cursed under his breath.
“Damn you father,” Mr. Mo muttered, “Can’t keep your bloody book away from the public.”
“What does that mean?” Loki wondered.
Mr. Mo sat there, clenching both of his fists, and furrowing his eyebrows. Loki began to scoot away in his chair, until finally half a minute later Mr. Mo’s face relaxed.
“Well. That’s not good, if they’re taming a Tyrannosaurus,” Mr. Mo declared, all anger on his face washed away, “We’re going to have to… take care of them.”
“What?!” Loki cried, “But we-”
Mr. Mo raised an eyebrow at him, and Loki slunk back in his seat. His hand reaching for his pouch and running his fingers along it for comfort.
“Loki, you know they’re dangerous. Too dangerous. It’s best we don’t take risks,” Mr. Mo replied, “People become violent and savage when they are left to their own devices. They could tear through our settlement with a Tyrannosaurus- Loki, it’s just for the best. Now I don’t expect you to finish the job yourself. I’ll ask someone else to do it, okay?”
“Yeah but, they did nothing wrong!” Loki argued, slamming his fist on the table, “And you know those knock offs won’t bother with it! It’s either you or me and-”
Suddenly, Loki’s eyes widened, as he realized what he said. Did nothing wrong? Didn’t he blow up a group of seven just then with a grenade even though they did nothing wrong? What the hell was he thinking saying all of that when he couldn’t even follow his OWN morals?!
Loki blinked a few times, rubbing his sparkling green eyes, and then brushing his hair back with his hand.
“I’m sorry,” Loki apologized.
“No, no, it’s okay Loki, really!” Mr. Mo reassured him, “It’s hard on you as it is being transported here. Let alone kill another human being. Let’s just move onto what I’ve found, alright?”
Loki nodded regretfully.
“Okay.”
“Okay!” Mr. Mo grinned. He adjusted his chair and then pointed at the map behind him. He picked up his pen and circled two places on the map. One was really close, they’d only have to travel east a few hundred meters. The other was a little farther up north on the coast of the tundra.

Chapter 41: Principal, Principles
Part 1/3
It’s quiet.
The wind softly whistled throughout the snowy tundras, and what resembled snowflakes fell past his face. The boy’s chitin armor was especially tight in this type of weather.
Croak, croak.
The boy looked at his Pteranodon. Lifeless eyes, it’s been through it all. He reached forward and gently caressed its crest, but even with his affections, it showed no remorse.
But the more he petted it, the more he moved his hand back and forth on the creature, the more he felt his hands tremble.
“Why’d I do it, Monarch? They’d done nothing wrong. They just knew too much about this place,” he whispered.
He took steady, deep breaths, and felt his heart rate go down. His hands stopped trembling. It was for the best, anyway. Knowers were too dangerous. Too unpredictable.
So even though Mr. Mo had not specifically ordered him to sabotage and kill Knowers, he had to do it for his own safety.
The boy blinked his emerald green eyes, snapped his fingers, and turned around, walking to the small settlement of wooden huts that was tucked away at the seams of a mountain. One of three obelisks hung in the air above the mountain peak, its blue glow making him shiver.
Crunch, crunch, crunch.
The snow crunched under his feet as he approached the settlement, and the Pteranodon let out another croak. As he began to enter the premises, he noticed a gang of five jeering each other on, drinking out of their jars and pushing each other around like vicious dogs. They were wearing suits of hide armor and seemed to be in a daze.
The boy’s eyes shot a look at their leader, Brad, and Brad must have noticed. Short, black hair that was tied into a knot at the back, he smirked and nodded his head at him.
“Hey, wouldn’t you look at that, The principal’s little pet Loki is back,” Brad snickered.
Loki turned to him, a glare striking Brad’s face. Brad’s buddies turned to stare at him, and they all let out hollers of amusement and joy.
“We got a problem?” Loki asked.
“Yes, yes we do. Where’s our warm clothes?” Brad asked with a growl, “We’ve been freezing our butts off here and you’re just cooped up in the house doing nothing, you sack of nuts. We were expecting-”
Loki reached forward with immense speed and grabbed Brad by the throat, wrapping his fingers around his larynx and squeezing tightly. Brad began to choke as Loki began to raise his arm, the muscles all across his arm activating as Brad dangled in the air. He let out futile struggles by kicking his feet and prying at his hand, but it was no use.
“Psh. Really? I’ve done nothing? That’s hilarious coming from you,” Loki spat. Brad’s implant began to glow, but Loki slammed him onto the powdery snow.
“Try it all you want, you’re not entitled to anything around here. It’s survival of the fittest, and if you think others are gonna do the work for you? Don’t expect anything in return if you aren’t even going to contribute,” Loki snarled, shaking Brad up and down. Brad began to turn blue in the face, and his friends watched on in horror until someone’s cry shot through the air.
“Alright. That’s enough, Loki. We won’t kill anyone here now.”
Loki recognized his voice immediately. Loki let go of him immediately and shot up, standing. He turned around and took a saluting stance, his loyalty unwavering.
“Ah ha ha ha,” Mr. Mo laughed as wiped snow off his combed back gray hair. The wrinkles on his face seemed more defined than they were back at Terran High, and he still had that jagged scar that ran down his left eye. He was wearing a suit of fur armor, made from the pelts of the animals of the tundra. And his tanned face set him apart from everyone else in the snowy settlement. It was like he didn’t really belong here. Yet, at the same time, he was the only reason this settlement could have even come to life.
Mr. Mo added on, “Come on Loki. I see you’ve finished the scouting mission. Let’s go to my office and talk about it. And also about what I’ve found, it’s really important. I want your thoughts on it.”
Brad let out a snicker, his head looking at one friend and to the next.
“See? Told you that he’s his pet.”
Loki shot a sneer at the group as they began to laugh, but as he looked back he already saw Mr. Mo walking away to the stone compound tucked away at the corner of the settlement.
Under the waves: chapter 8
Pearl floated there, stunned. What others? What locked door? She shook her head and swam to the exit. “Wait.” Trench said, the first time he actually spoke after he found his dead sister. Pearl turned to him, confused. “Pearl.. do think that was.. a prophecy?” He said. “Maybe. I wonder how we’ll find ‘the others’.” She responded. “Maybe it’s magic?” Trench guessed. She shrugged. “I wonder who managed to kill all of these creatures. Even a mosasaur!” Pearl snarled. “I don’t know. We should look, though.” Trench said. Almost as soon as they swam out of the rubble a net was thrown in front of them. Pearl hissed, veering back. But trench didn’t see the net and was trapped in it. “NO!” Pearl screeched as trench was being dragged away by the humans. She swam after them as fast as she could, but couldn’t catch up. She surfaced to catch her breath. Then, pearl was aware of something strange. The water crackled with electricity. Her veins glowed like they were filled with lightning. She raced after the rafts, fueled by new speed. It began to rain. She caught up in less than a minute, and as if she commanded it herself, a lightning hold struck down from the sky and destroyed the raft, shattering it into pieces. The rain subsided, and she stopped glowing. Replacing her energy was exhaustion, and she couldn’t move. Breathing heavily, she floated on the surface, trying to regain her strength. The. She saw trench in the net, slowly sinking. He would drown for sure. She swam down and heaved him up, which was a very hard task as she was already exhausted and trench was large then her. Then trench woke up. “Ow… everything hurts.” He groaned. “Are you ok? What happened?” Pearl asked him. “You started glowing a little and your eyes turned BLUE. The it started to rain and.. everything flashed white. I.. don’t know after that.” He answered. “Pearl… I think that prophecy the mechalodon gave us… I think your one of the ‘others’.” He said. And he was probably right.

The Terrible Demise of Tortuga
Chapter twenty nine(a early valentine special)
The next week flew by quickly with all the wedding preparations until finally the special day came.
Emma was at the wedding building standing there while her mother did her hair. “I’m so nervous.” She told Arianna. “It’s okay honey, the only thing that matters is…..if you love Andrew. Do you?” Arianna asked. “Yes, with all my heart.” Emma said. “Then that’s all that matters. There! You’re hair is done.” The door to the room they were in opened and Aragorn walked in. “Are you ready?” He asked. Emma nodded.
The place was decorated with red, pink, and white roses everywhere. After all they were being married on Valentine’s Day. Andrew stood underneath the wooden arch facing all of the people in the town in the pews. Just then a door swung open and Emma exited on her father’s arm. Aragorn led her down the middle of the pews to the archway where Andrew stood. Emma and Andrew clasped hands then the minister stepped right next to them. “Andrew, do you take Emma to be your beloved wife? Through sickness and health?” The minister asked. “I do.” Andrew said staring deeply into Emma’s eyes. “And you Emma, do you take Andrew to be your husband? Through sickness and health?” The minister asked Emma. “I do.” Emma said gazing deep into Andrew’s eyes. “The I pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss the bride!” Emma and Andrew kissed. The crowd cheered except for the mayors. Michael gave a dark stare at the newly wedded couple. Andrew and Emma walked through the church headed for the door, greeting congrats givers, and well wishers as they went. Aragorn shook Andrews hand and said “be true.”.
Emma spent the next days moving in with Andrew so they didn’t see her a lot. She and Andrew moved into a new house close to Mrs. Lois’ shop. They were very happy. “I miss Emma!” Jaquin said one night after dinner before they went to bed. “I know honey, but Emma is married now so she can’t live with us no more.” Arianna said. “I wish she could!” Josephina pouted. Before Arianna could respond the telephone rang. Aragorn picked it up. “Hello.” He said cheerfully. “Hi this is Andrew.” The voice on the other side said. “Hello Andrew! What do you need?” Aragorn asked. “I know it’s after time that we have to stay in our houses but……would you mind coming over?” Andrew asked in a hushed worried voice. “Sure. What’s wrong?” Aragorn asked, his voice growing worried. “It’s Emma. Something’s wrong with her. Her eyes…they’ve turned almost white! She doesn’t want you to come over though. She says it’s all her fault…” Andrew said his voice breaking. Aragorn exchanged looks with his wife. “Okay, I’m coming over.” He hung up then grabbed a jacket and hurried out the door. “What was that about?” Jack wondered aloud.
*Ding, dong!* The door bell of Emma and Andrew’s rang. Andrew opened the door for his father in law. Aragorn hurried inside. Andrew led him to the living room where Emma sat staring off into space. Her eyes were a dull white. “Emma are you okay?”Aragorn asked. Emma turned to him, tears pouring down her face. “Y-you Sh-shouldn’t have c-c-come.” She sobbed. “It’s all my fault, all my fault.” Aragorn looked at his daughter in worry. The door bell rang again and Andrew father, the doctor stepped in. Aragorn had stopped by his house on the way over. Andrew’s father looked Emma over. “I don’t see anything indicating the reason why she went blind.” The good doctor said. Suddenly Emma’s medallion began to glow. She gasped in horror then moaned in distress. “It’s all my fault.” She whispered. Eventually after he had made sure that Emma was fine Aragorn went home. He passed Mrs. Lois’ house, what he didn’t notice was her watching him from the window.
Just before lights out time Aragorn arrived back at his house. The kids were already in bed. “I don’t know… she just went blind for no reason.” Aragorn said. “It’s best we go to bed.” Arianna said worriedly.

Dodo Tales (Ep25 S1)
Jerry looked back, and tried to get the bola off of Eden, but to no avail. The man came closer and Jerry asked "who are you?"
He lifted his pike to finish Eden, but Jerry pushed him back with all his strength. He threw Jerry off of him, and he hit the arena wall and felt dizzy. "I AM FENRIR, FUTURE RULER OF THIS ARK, AND NO FOOLS SHALL EVER CHANGE THAT!" He boomed, as he drove the pike through Eden. Jerry couldn't take it anymore. He knocked Fenrir over on his back, and tried to get the pike out of his hands. He stood up and spun the pike in a circle, it flipped Jerry on his side so hard that he thought he had broken a bone. Obviously, everyone thought Jerry was dead. He crawled towards Eden. "Tell me you can make it" Jerry whispered
"Promise me you'll be alright" Eden coughed up blood and said weakly "only you can save the Ark now. Take this, it's all I can do for you now" he handed Jerry something and collapsed. his lifeless eyes still staring into Jerry's...
The Obelisk
-Chapter 24-
Forest burst from the trees.
“Forest!” Spark yelped.
“Where Ripper?” Rust asked.
“What’s wrong?” Crimson yelled.
Forest bent over, panting hard. “It’s a trap!”
“What?” Spark, Crimson and Rust cried.
“We have to get out of here,” He yelled. “I don’t know who’s side she’s on, but it’s not our side. She doesn’t really know Peeri at all.”
“I knew it,” Spark snarled softly.
“What are we gonna do?” Rust yelled.
“I say we take her on!” Crimson yelled.
“She’ll kick your butt in a heartbeat and you know it,” Spark said to Crimson. “We have to run.”
“And quick,” Forest added. “She was right behind me. She could come any seco—”
Ripper burst from the forest, bashing the top of her head into Forest, flinging him acrossed the landscape.
“FOREST!” Spark screamed
Forest slammed straight into a rock, pain reverberating through every bone and muscle. He collapsed to the ground beneath him, unable to move.
“Gues I’m gonna have to go with plan B,” he heard Ripper hiss. “Kill one of you.” Forest opened his eyes and saw her turn to him with a malevolent smirk.
Before she could do anything more, Crimson leaped forward with a roar of fury. She landed on Rippers neck and sunk her claws into the Velanosaurs scales and bit hard.
Ripper let out a bellow that shook the earth and rung in Forests brain. She reached up with one talon and yanked Crimson off of with brute force.
Crimson jumped back up, hissing, as Spark ran forward and bit into Rippers leg. Rust jumped next, digging his back claws into her heaving side.
Ripper shook herself vigorously, roaring. She wacked Spark aside with her tail, flung Rust off with one jump, and ran forward to clap her talon over Forests head.
“Hope you had a nice life,” she hissed. She opened her mouth, exposing her sharp teeth.
This is it.
“No!” The others screamed.
This is where I die.
And Forest couldn’t even fight back, because of the pain he was in. He just stared up as Ripper lifted her neck high, preparing to finish him with one bite.
And then something whammed into Ripper, and a hard rock or tail whacked Forest in the side of the head, making him dizzy.
Ripper roared and fair it her attacker, who was bigger than her. They grappled at each other’s claws and tails, and the last… thing… Forest saw… was the opposing carnivore throw Ripper down the nearest hill…. before Forest closed his eyes and everything went…. Dark.

It was so bright that you couldn’t see the door too the room. Until it opened…. “Ah I see you’ve woken up from your ‘nap’?” The creature that walked in asked. Buddy could tell right away that it was a light brown jerboa. “…. Yeah… nap… let’s go with that!” Buddy said slowly. “My name is Dr. Benjamin Eavs. You can call me Ben. I’m going too help you get better! Your new here right?” The human asked curiously. “Yes I am, you can call me Buddy….” Buddy said slowly. “I’ve heard that you have been having ‘seizures’. Tell me did you dream in your sleep?” Yang asked brightly. “Yeah… they were mostly about people dying.” Buddy replied. “Hmm… let’s see if we can make you have another one. If we find out how you have these we can find a way too stop them….” Yang said. “I developed a serum that can make people go too sleep. Want too give it a try?” Yang asked. “Sure….” Buddy replied. Dr. Yang poured the serum into a bowl so Buddy could drink it. Buddy took a few sips then felt the familiar pain in his back. Then everything went black.

Buddy opened his eyes. He was laying in the rubble of a town. Laying next too him was a human. The man had dark brown hair, blue eyes, a pale face, and a long blue coat. He was covered in bruises and scars. The man stood up slowly and started searching frantically for something. “EVELIN?” The man yelled. Buddy turned too see three more people searching as well. Chapter 29
When they reached the obelisk, Caesar ran up to the terminal, he looked around but all he saw was a red button, and a slot where you could put some sort of key. “What is this! Where is the terminal to shut this down!” He said. Then he heard laughter, a vile sound.. it was Salizars laugh. “You really thought the boss terminal is where I started this?!” He said laughing, “oh Caesar how easy it is to outsmart you and your pitiful gang.” He continued. “Where are you Salizar!” Caesar said, then a mechanic wyvern flew up from the ledge, with Salizar sitting atop it. “Do you like it? It’s called a voidwrym pulled it out of a security system for something called “the genesis shuttle” Salizar said. The others where already running up to the terminal when Salizar spoke again. “Don’t you get it?! That rock drake who told you to come here was lying, JUST as I instructed,” Salizar said. “He put up a good act.. I almost don’t want to leave him here, oh well he served his purpose, just like the others before him.” He said. “Your insane!” Caesar said. “.. maybe, but I will survive wile you die here.. oh speaking of that you might want to run, we've got about… hmm, an hour before the obelisks begin.” Salizar said. And at that Caesar turned and ran, ignoring Salizars taunts and laughter, he told the others to run and they did, then they grew tired “why even run?!” One of the Gigantopithicus said, “we’re dead nomatter we’re we go..” he said. “Maybe not.. we know a placce but it is forbidden to go there..” Seascale said. “I don’t think that matters right now..” Nash said. “Probably not.. it’s under the floating isle, we should ssplit up try to warn as many creaturess as we can.” Seascale said. “Yes we should- VVVVBBMMMMMM, at that moment the obelisks erupted pure energy shooting into the ground, with a massive shockwave that sent them all rearing, the obelisks blinding glow illuminated the dark woods with blue, green, and red light. “HURRY.” Caesar said. They ran in all directions, telling anyone they could find where to run, some of the sea serpents went back home to warn their kingdom. They saved many.. but time was short, the blast from the obelisks shattered the ground creating cracks and scars in the earth, lava and fire was erupting from the chasms, when the creatures arrived from all around the ark, the sea serpents led them down the the cave. Caesar ran to the terminal in the cave, creatures nervously peeking in to see how they were going to be saved. The air was dry and Smokey and the fire and crevasses were nearing, Caesar couldn’t figure out how to unlock the terminal, then he saw another slot, he ran out of the cave, through the masses of creatures nervously standing in the shallow water, he climbed up to the clearing where they fought the dragon, he looked up and saw the blinding red glow of the obelisk, the fire, the destruction. He noticed how the shattered ground looked not that different from the usual landscape, and wondered “has this happened before?” He dismissed the thought and ran to the body of the dragon, he looked around, then noticed a crack in one of the horns, he pulled the key out the crack, then he scrambled to get back down. The creatures were even more nervous now, complaining and freaking out about the end of the world. He ran to the terminal placed the key in its slot, and the terminal instantly turned on cyan lights trailing from the terminal up to a huge tek door, the door glowed then opened, and instantly everyone tried to run inside like a stampede. “NO! EVERYONE SINGLE FILE LINE, NOW.” Ron yelled. The creatures wearily complied. “We don’t know what’s gonna be in here so let us go first.” He said. Bones, the five, the chief and seascale led the way they had no trouble getting through, the lava was easily avoidable and all the creatures inside had already been killed. “These creatures were killed by a strange fire.. Salizar.” Caesar said. “Guess that means we can escape from here..” Ping said. “Ya that’s the only good thing about it.” Caesar said. “How’ss your arm?” Seascale asked the chief. “It’ll be fine, I’ll just have a nice battle scar heh!” He said. “What happened down in the sea palace? I didn’t see your emperor in the crowd.” Caesar said. “She felt that we where foolss to leave when the problem “had nothing to do with the ssea” and that “the ocean will ssurvive a little shifting rocks and fire”,” Seascale said, “so we gathered as many people who would follow and left.” He said. “Hm sounds like you’ll have to coronate a new emperor..” Ron said. “Yess, we will.” he said. Then they reached another door, but this one seemed more like a hexagonal portal. Caesar looked at it, then the others. “Well guess this is where we go next..”
