Ok well I’d say this was a definite tame. This bad boy could have a platform saddle with almost 69 turrets that fit on it and was perfect for raiding bases in pvp or even pve. You had to make sure to use plenty of your dead victims (or tribe mates if you weren’t good enough to take on enemies) to tame this beast. 100% was the best tame in ark until it was nerfed. They atleast should have kept its flying abilities :(
More Coelacanth Encountering Tips
Strongest crature of ark. Giganotosaurs and t rexes are extinct because they were weak. This thing is alive still.
Coelacanths take up spawn points for other river-swelling creatures, so if you are having trouble finding otters and spinosaurs, kill some fish.
this beast killed both my Rexs (lvl 170) & (lvl 130) be aware ⚠️
This little terminator of a fish killed my level 135 thyla. Stay away from these beasts

if u see this fearsome creature run! get as far away from the water as possible and don’t ever go back. if u are forced to fight it u will lose unless u have multiple max leveled GIGAs
Killed my trex level 319. I tried to get revenge with my 2 gigas but they 1 shot them. They seem to have stronger attack then the king titan. Watch out, they come in packs.
