While they are dangerous they are the greatest source of narcotics in the game. They give what’s called bio toxin and this will make torpor rise faster. If you want to kill them safely lure them to a raft and then crossbow them down. They are fairly weak so you won’t need many shots to slay them. Your greatest worry will be the sharks but if you can kite them into these guys you will find it works to your benefit.

They drop a pretty neat resource called 'Bio Toxin' when killed. It can be use as a steonger alternative to the Narcotic. It can also be used for a new 'Shocking Tranq Dart' which can shock the target and add a substantial amount of torpor. Perfect for knocking out Quetzal's.

They should add a notification to if one is near so ark says: run or you'll find yourself at the stone age again

These guys utility is biotoxin which is useful for keeping creatures unconscious

Listen I got good strategy on how to kill these I killed one as a lvl1 you just get in water lure them to shore and then then they cannot reach you you but you can reach them so then just hit them over and over plz upvote so people see ps do not eat the bio toxin they drop

The only good from these little monsters, is harvesting the Bio Toxin from them to keep taming Dino’s unconscious.

If you find one near the surface not far from the shore, use a crossbow to kill it then harvest for easy bio-toxin.

Make a farm for them and kill em

Kill them to get bio toxin so you can make toxic ant arrows on mobile

Apparently I haven’t seen or heard of anyone talking about Bio Toxins being used as an alternative than Narcotics!

I know many people will say “You save up to use in Toxicant Arrows”!

Truly understandable but! This is an Greater Alternative to feed your creatures Bio Toxins rather than narcotics, If you have no choice or rather is low level to make use of it.

For those who wish farm biotoxin without getting hurt, use crossbow with stone arrows. Up if it was helpful

Sometimes they are REALLY close to the shore and if you are low lvl you can kill them with spears and harvest the toxin for taming.

I’m not sure if this is just a glitch or not but my otter will kill them and harvest them and they won’t attack my otter.

These are just better narcotics in mobile

Biotoxins are used for toxicant arrows, but on low levels they will substitute the mass use of narcotics. Its also not hard to get, on mobile thats even more true.

Bait them to a beach, just stepping in deep water draws their aggro, once they are near, hit them and step back as sometimes they will try to charge you a bit more even beaching themselves in the process, after it its safe to farm.
