KILL THEM! EACH AND EVERYONE!

If u are an early gamer & think that jellyfish are annoying, heres what u do.

1. Locate jellyfish.

2. Put a billboard on the beach next to the jellyfish and paint it a different color that u will be able to recognize.

3. Go into a hut and craft a Slingshot. Load it with stones. About 100 stones will be good. If that makes u encumbered, then put the materials u need to get rid of in a Storage Box or tame so u can move.

4. Hold Slingshot, destroy billboard, craft a thatch floor in the billboard's place.

5. Stand on floor.

6. Shoot Slingshot at jellyfish.

7. They cannot reach u.

8. They will die.

9. Kill all jellyfish (they spawn three at once).

10. Go and grab the Bio Toxin.

11. Destroy thatch floor.

12. Repeat on multiple clumps of jelly.

13. Green arrow if helpful.

The basilosaurus is not effected by the stings making it easy to kill them with it

Is there a mod that removes these and eels from the game?

Use a basilosaurus to fight them. Since all their attacks involve electricity unlike the electric eels which can bite, they are doing no damage to the basilosaurus. Just spam the attack button and don’t forget to harvest their body for toxin too!

How to kill

Step one:get into the water and have them agro on you but stay close to shore so they can’t get you.

Step two: when they are almost on the shore and can’t go any further.

Step 3: kill them with any spear like weapon.

These are THE grim reaper. I like to kill em' with a crossbow and arrows, as you don't really need to waste your ammo for your guns on these. Hate, hate, hate HATE these things, killed my rideable sea bird Amelia, (Named after Amelia Airheart btw)and me. Rip both of em'. Hit the button to the sky= rip. MAKE THESE EXTINCT!!!!!!!!!

Use the ichthy they said... it's immune to shocks they said... that's fine I'll quickly swim done with no scuba gear and lure one to the surface...zap... surface is so near yet so far... manta finish the job

If you are annoyed by cnidira(jellyfishes) tame a basilosoraus or tusso , basilo is easier just kill the mantas surrounding it (using sarco or baryonx , meg) and feed it exceptional kibble or prime meat (raw meat is fine as well) the use the basilo to fight the jellyfishshes since they can't be stunned or shocked , killing jellyfishshes becomes easier with the basilo

my level 53 (Nilah) and level 61 (Spiny) spinos were actually able to take these guys out with no problem. they saved my mesopithicus (Maverick).

Only one thing I can say, they don't have eyes but see U coming from a mile away. Do not touch them!

If you're tame touches them then just just press B and drop all inventory. Respawn in bed and start taming another tame.

I’ve lost so many tames to these. They need to be fixed to where they don’t kill everything that touches the water excepting the basilosaurus. Logically, how does this dumb blue jellyfish kill spinos, mosas, plesios, and any apex predator that comes near? Just voicing my thoughts… hit the arrows if I’m not the only one who thinks this needs to change.

I thought I could take a few of these thing out with my Spino....

Touch it and die!!! I learned that the hard way

These things spawn on The Island at the bottom right of the map near the Lava Cave. These cheeky little buggers are more than happy to ruin your day by swarming and stunlocking you and your tames nonstop unless you are on a Basilosaurus, which is the only creature that is immune to their attacks. If you don't have a Basilosaurus, lure them close to shore and cheese it with a spear or pike, better yet pray that they beach themselves and die.

Was trying to take care of an alpha Megalodon that kept attacking anything that set foot in the water near my base. As soon as I went in with my Sarco that I had literally built for killing this thing, 5 of these pulled up and ended it instantly. DEATH TO ALL JELLIES
