Basilosaurs cannot be hurt or damaged by the cnidaria

Be aware, these creatures gang up on you, was on my lvl 180 megalodon clearing a river and one shocked it and shortly after two, three more showed up and shocked it to death. Best strategy I’ve found is to stand on a raft and use a rifle to pop shots (usually only takes 2-3 shots depending on the lvl) and presto to also get bio toxin and the satisfaction of revenge

Attack them with a whale (basilosaur) they cannot be shocked

How to defeat during lower-middle levels:

1.go into the water near a beach and draw it to the shore, then run out to safety.

2. Shoot. It doesn’t run away.

3.harvest and repeat.

If your hunting for them bring stimulant as they can knock you out

If you see a group of these bastards turn around and don't go back.. I just had a 206 spino and a 200 sarco get annihilated by a group of 4 of these and both tames had about 5k + health and it took merely 20 seconds for them to die... so stay away these guys are bad news!!!

Don't even try with these guys, just don't try. Let them kill you and your tames (literally any tames) and you'll be happier.

I must be lucky because I use my 215 spinoff to farm these jellys. Haven't had a problend yet you just gotta strike first and keep on killin with no mercy

how to tame:

step one: find a jellyfish that has a high level (aka a high killcount)

step two: take a bite out of it since it holds biotoxin

step three: fall asleep

step four: dream that you tamed the jellyfish

step five: because the jellyfish killed you, you are in the dream realm forever, so you tamed it in the dream realm.

step six: enjoy the jellyfish

step seven: there is no step seven stupid idiot

Tame eels with biotoxin, it's realmente easy to get:). (Tested in mobile)

1: find some Cnidaria, they spawn near the shore. (The glowing jellyfish, if you don't know how they look)

2: get in the water, then go out. they won't move for some seconds, but they will get closer to you. Do this until they get near the shore, where they can't get you.

3: kill them; DON'T GET TO CLOSER. They can shock you, and you won't move for some seconds. Normally they spawn in groups of 3.

4: farm the biotoxin, you can get around 13 from every corpse.

I like killing these things cuz I hate em they killed my sabertooth when I was doing smth.

I was just about to kill an alpha meg with a trash bary, then this guy showed up and I attacked the alpha while keeping my distance. This guy wasn’t even close when I got stunned. They need to nerf it’s aoe. my bary died but the meg was 100 health.

My reply:That’s partially true, but a Spino/Plesi/Mosa/barry can farm them with their bite range, and the Barry can spin to win stun. However if like to just mindlessly farm then use a tuso, because it has a huge AOE tentacle slap, that 1 shots all eels and jellies, and you can take on everything else that comes at you. If your HP drops below 50% make sure to have a deodon with you, so you can heal up your tuso if need be.

Or you could just carry 6 foundations, X amount of ceilings, 6 behemoth gates, doors, and or walls with a teleport to block off the sections around the jellies spawn, and then you can use any Dino to farm jellies. Then teleport out of render range and back to keep farming the same spots over and over.

How to get bio toxin

1: go in the water and make it come to you

2: get on shore and go make sure it’s as close as it can go

3: hit it (repeat 1 and 2 multiple times if you need to)

4: when it’s dead harvest it with a pickax

5: you have bio toxin

These f's killed half of my dinos which were underwater and even killed my lvl 134 kapro which has taken me 3 days to get a high lvl one (doesn't even think about these bastards just murder them because it's do or die if ur in water and trust me these guy don't show mercy they really don't) and use bow or crossbow while farming these
