These things are SOOOO annoying!

One time when I tamed a megalodon, four of those things came in and killed it the moment when it was tamed 😡

Simply shoot it and it's pack with a bow when you are above water. After you do that, harvest it's bio toxin whenever you can. It is very helpful for taming.

Just use a force tamed Spinosaurus with a good knockback. My level 3 can 1 shot these pieces of crap and has good knockback. Now all I need is to get from level 38 to level 71

Sarco was killed by 20 of these suckers in one place. I got a frickin spino 2 minutes later that was better than my sarco. Sarco used to be best tame

Squids easily farm these because of their long reach

If you have some difficulties to find them, you can hunt by night and with a raft, as they are phosphorescent they are easyer to recognise and to aim.

If your mount has high health let it attack it while you swim away grab a pike and stab it to death

You can safely farm them with Mosa and Plesy with at least 200% damage. Their hitbox is way larger than Jelly does, so hit them hard before their hitbox collide with yours.

So, fun fact, they have a shorter range than a pike or spear. So you can just swim backward while stabbing them to save your megalodons, sarcos and other stupid tames.

It says the won’t attack you unless you’re “in close proximity to them” but in reality you will see it move away to tame something and by the time you knock it out it is already too late.

Always watch out for these when you are swimming as that will stun you so you can’t fight and killl you and your Dino if your riding one

If you get stung you are done for so you might as well just rage quit and give up on life

shoot it try and kill it, and the get bio toxin arrows and knock it out

Don’t use melee weapons use bow or crossbow

Well there is a glitch where it will come on land and hurt or kill everyone you love.i was walking on the beach with my adolescent Dodey jr.(Dodo), I decided to take a walk on the beach,I saw a threat(jelly b####rd)so I came at it with my pike,I hit it came on land,mudered Dodey jr. then died(😭✌️R.I.P.)

If you have an ascendant sword, good. Just spam left click and hope they die.

All you have to do to kill one is stand on the shore with a bow or crossbow and shoot them make sure you stay out of the water while shooting them. Yeet.

Cnidaria stun for 5 seconds at a time which leaves you with a 1 second window to get in an attack so IF one grabs you, face it and hold down your attack button with pike or sword equipped and hope you can kill it before it kills or knocks you out. When fighting a swarm of them, the stun effect overlaps and you’re SOL. DON’T FIGHT MORE THAN 2 AT A TIME.

Wanna get biotoxin without risking your Dinos? Find a school of these and get close enough to hit with a crossbow and aggro them - they’ll slowly swim closer. Draw them to a shore where you can stand and see them on the surface then shoot them with a gun. Once dead, check and make sure you didn’t miss any then harvest them with your axe. Gives about 15-18 biotoxin per jelly. Biotoxin spoils in an hour on you, 4hrs in a dino and 8 in preserving bin. Good luck!

Their biotoxins make great narcotics, but spoil. Put them in your fridge. Or, preserving bin. If your more early game than that then you don't need this tip.
