Use a basilosaurus to fight them. Since all their attacks involve electricity unlike the electric eels which can bite, they are doing no damage to the basilosaurus. Just spam the attack button and don’t forget to harvest their body for toxin too!

How to kill

Step one:get into the water and have them agro on you but stay close to shore so they can’t get you.

Step two: when they are almost on the shore and can’t go any further.

Step 3: kill them with any spear like weapon.

You can bully them with a Basilo a good tip for people who absolutely hate this thing

Basically useless unless you kill it because they give bio toxin witch is 2x better than narcotics. Well also usefull if your getting raided by under water creatures with these. That's Basically all.....

Keep a far distance from these things snipe them from a distance, they will come after you and camp at the beach you ran on to get away they killed my bary seaweed and my spino mintchocochip. If you see groups of them form kill them off when you can

They can spawn alone or in packs up to 7 and usually drop a max of 14 bio toxin per corpse, or more if youre on ume and pc

Dosent matter if u have any big dino avoid these and please kill then and take revange for my spino rex sacro and rhyniogantha

Because the ocean is really dark during the night, I decided to trap these guys in a stone railing box cage , so now I have a luminating water source if I go swimming.

You can farm Biotoxin from these using Basilosaurus as it is immune to it's stuns therefore doesn't jake damage from them at all

If you're tame touches them then just just press B and drop all inventory. Respawn in bed and start taming another tame.

Only one thing I can say, they don't have eyes but see U coming from a mile away. Do not touch them!

I left my level 98 titanosoar on passive in the water then I went to tame a carno to go look for artifacts but then… YOUR TITANOSOAR o.p was killed by Cnidaria level 10

These are THE grim reaper. I like to kill em' with a crossbow and arrows, as you don't really need to waste your ammo for your guns on these. Hate, hate, hate HATE these things, killed my rideable sea bird Amelia, (Named after Amelia Airheart btw)and me. Rip both of em'. Hit the button to the sky= rip. MAKE THESE EXTINCT!!!!!!!!!

I’ve lost so many tames to these. They need to be fixed to where they don’t kill everything that touches the water excepting the basilosaurus. Logically, how does this dumb blue jellyfish kill spinos, mosas, plesios, and any apex predator that comes near? Just voicing my thoughts… hit the arrows if I’m not the only one who thinks this needs to change.

These things spawn on The Island at the bottom right of the map near the Lava Cave. These cheeky little buggers are more than happy to ruin your day by swarming and stunlocking you and your tames nonstop unless you are on a Basilosaurus, which is the only creature that is immune to their attacks. If you don't have a Basilosaurus, lure them close to shore and cheese it with a spear or pike, better yet pray that they beach themselves and die.
