My first time playing ark I saw like five Cnidarias and jumped in the water to see what they were then they paralyzed me and killed me while I sat there helpless then when I tried to get my stuff back they just sat there guarding my stuff then I tried to get my stuff again and died😭😭😭

If you decide to take your spino out for a swim, do not under any circumstances let them touch you. I got shocked and dismounted from my spino and I swam away to try and whistle him to me. I then had to watch in horror as my spino get shocked to death by 5 jellys and 3 megs. It was also my first spino. RIP Spiny

I’ve been playing Ark for only a couple months, but so far, these have killed me and my water mounts more than any land encounters. Why are these things aggressive? People say these are neutral but they really aren’t. They stun lock you til you die, and these kill your mounts. Super annoying and if you see one in the water, just don’t go in. Unless you have a Basilosaurus, I highly recommend staying away from these.

I don't dare travel far in the water unless necessary. (Still no Carbonemys saddle ;/) They haven't taken a dino yet but if I ever see these things while I'm WITH a dino I'm out. I can kill them with a spear near the shore but I'm in horror of what they could do to my dinosaurs

I have found that using a long-ranged weapon like a crossbow or slingshot on them from shore is an easy way to kill them, hope this helps!

According to the cnidaria "stats" there swimming speed is 250. So is there walking. I'm scared, really scared now

Lure them out by going in the water, make them follow you, get out of the water and get back in the water on the opposite side. They did when they’re out of the water. You’re welcome

Ark has lied to us once again. These can be forcetamed!

If you need say a gallimimus you need to kill on of them they give a lot of biotoxin just gather a bunch of rocks and craft a sling shot then find one close to the shore the kill it when their dead you can pick it up then

harvest all the biotoxin (but don't eat it) it gives a lot of torpor when eaten

Use the basilosaurus they are immune to the cnidaria stings.

I once saw a glitched one of these and wanna know how it was glitched it came on land and did not die I killed it eventually but I did see 5 dead rexes when I was looking for it.

It killed my giga 345 it took 4h I’m so mad😡

Basilo is immune to every attack by these guys tuso is just immune to the rider being shocked of the saddle.
