I have a pet one of these in fjordir. Idk how it actually is my pet but its kinda cool that it doesnt kill the other cinidarias. Its in ASE tho so its prob a glitch.

Carbonmeys are great at killing these things

Get a bronto!! They can kill so many things, especially if you saddle them. Or, you can bring them to shore and kill them there.

This “jellyfish” is the worst living thing to ever exist it is the jellyfish embodiment of hitler DONT go near them unless you are on a basilosaurus in that case purge them. I HATE CNIDARIA

On mobile the effect is less bad cause you can still use your wepon and move around when shocked and my sarco still swum around and attacked them WHILE SHOCKED! that’s crazy good for me

They are untamable, so don’t even try to passive tame, it will shock you, and if you try to knock it out, well it’ll die. So there’s literally no point in engaging with it, EXCEPT if you want Bio Toxin, which is very useful for shocking tranquilizer darts, and also if you have a Basilosaurus you don’t get shocked so just get a Basilosaurus and you’re fine.

Turrets don't target them, keep it in mind if you're building an underwater cave base.

All you have to do to these guys is lead them to shore, once they can’t go any further onto land go and swim beside them. They will glitch and slide onto land causing them to die and you basically get free resources from them. You can use this tactic for other underwater creatures like piranhas but it doesn’t always work with piranhas

If you want to safely kill these jerks use a Basilosaurus , they are immune to the shock effects

Install a mod that removes them from the game. Thats my tip
