There is a bug that stops the Chalicotherium eating the second beer unfortunately not sure how common it is.

These mf great at gathering berries

They trow poop that stuns other creatures

They are not passive

They eat beer(or stimberrys)

Good dps(damage per second)

They eat berries after tamed.

Don't know how to make beer? I have a nice little tip:

Feed It a stimberri,then give It the soothing balm to make the process MUCH quicker, if you don't have soothing balm then don't do this Cuz even at level 1 you Will need 550 STIMBERRIES,which would also take 550 seconds to tame which is ALOT of time, you'll probably get attacked by a dilo before you can finish

Definitely recommend as an early tame however it does drink beer to tame (or go the long and hard way and use stimberries which I personally do not recommend).

And the cool thing is that even after tame you can still throw dirt grenades (if you want to call it that), and they charge at you if too close to them so be careful.

They're hostile but are a passive tame. WHY. If you just stand next to them feeding them they're just gonna kill you

You should REALLY use beer to tame them it’s a lot easier.

I have found it useful to wear a ghillie suit while taming one of these creatures. Open areas are preferred. (Don't want to lose track of the big guy.) You could also possibly try trapping them with structures of your choice. (I haven't tried trapping any.) Possibly a trap with an open roof where you can still reach it. Best of luck and bring tons of beer!

Most preferred beer, but make sure you have it in your item slot to press e! You can also use stimberries to tame it if you like waiting a year.

FYI To all the people like me who would tame it with Stim berries, in Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition it does not accept stim berries. I learned that while trying to tame one and brought 600. It was a sad day.

These guys will hit you and throw balls of crap at you, but once you have a beer with it, it will love you.

I would like to know if you could cage it, could you tame it from below without agro-ing it ???

If you wanna tame these things you gotta be in sneak mode and then keep on feeding mejoberries or beer jars. Also the taming is not violent as you don't need to knock it out to tame you just simply feed it, Hope this helps for people who wanna tame this :)

These creatures are passive a tame and drink beer to tame these creatures will get mad if they see you they will also eat stimberries but that approach takes a long time they are very powerful and are most commonly seen I colder climates

Try and feed it from behind so it doesn’t attack you. and if you don’t want to grind for a beer barrel get a x10 soothing balm, wait some time feed it more and then you have your 5$ walmart version megatherium

Easy to tame. Just crouch and sneak. No need for ghille armor. I tame these naked or other armor on. Just sneak passive tame. Balms are your friends cuz passive tames take large an eternity. Their babies are cute. And they are a good mount to shoot off their backs. They are tanks and pack good claw swipe or boulder throw. Wished they were tad bit faster but usually I pump levels in there and rest in Mele

These things are actually very very strong if u wanna invest a bit of time on it. I call it the popeye cow. It's very versatile good weight decent movement and has a range attack that's very very decent. Only use beer yo tame as stimson are useless beer isn't hard to get craft it or ask a server member I'm sure someone will have beer. I love it you will to. Colours are also very nice on these mine is red orange and black

Its pretty easy to tame these creatures if you have a soothing balm(you can get lots of soothing balm by artifacts and if you know the "change rewards trick" on sp you can have lots of hit)

To tame one you'll need just 2-3 beer bottles which you get in beer barrel. Find one and secure the area where it is, kill the creatures that could damage your chalico cuz once they get damaged the taming progress will be lost. Sneak on its back cuz once the chalico spotted you they'll aggro on you and you cannot tame them,

Put the soothing balm first then the beer (if its lvl30-70 it should tame immediately cuz of the soothing balm)

Easiest way to tame it requires a quetzal / wyvern. Just build a taming pen then go grab one to tame it there safely (and to safely escape from it when you fail)
