Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a chalicotherium? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a chalicotherium.
Why you need beer it's a dinosaur not a person and how does it survive in the wild do they have a beer stand.
This is a Question... How many beers does it take to Tame it?
Try making the beer before you plan to tame them. 6 hours is a long time....
Feed beer run back and then feed beer and keep doing that
They are a passive tame, but don’t be me and stare at it because it will attack you but will not target you from far away. I guess it just doesn’t like being stared at.
Watch out they fling poo the strongest weapon in ark
Lvl 50 took me exactly 19 min and just 10 beers. Only wore a gillie chest piece. Try to trap it and just stay crouched behind it the whole time. Be careful not to touch it. The time from the first to the second beer was about 5 min. So be patient, after the 2nd beer it eats faster.
You can feed it stimberries if you dont have the time to make beer but it takes a long time
Get your Target and then Scout the area to take out threats or leave them away off a cliff, and have plenty of food for yourself cooked meat particularly.
Cauana
I had issue where after feeding it once it wouldnt be ready for another one after a couple of mins of waiting...i just ran infront of it till it aggroed me then ran till it dropped aggro then it would let me feed it normally till it was tamed
If taming outside of a base or pen, kill all surrounding carnivores to avoid the Chalico being attacked and losing all taming progress, happened to me today.
Make sure to eliminate any hostile animals in its surrounding area before and during taming. Wear Ghillie.
For some reason when you make beer on Xbox it won't let you take out the beer liquid or put in a glass jar does anyone know how to fix this or what I need to do
Make a 1x2 box surrounded by doorframes made entirely of stone or metal as they cannot damage the structure. Aggro the Chalico into the box and seal it from behind. Keep your distance for a few minutes and the Chalico will no longer try to destroy its cage. Then you can safely passive tame it.
Like all passive tames if you knock them out and wait for their food to drop you can feed it until its food fills back up
Don't make wheat beer! It doesn't work!
This is a hard tame because it takes so long to tame and it takes 6 days to make 1 beer
The best way to tame the Chalicotherium would be to pick up with a Quetz. Then hold in place, while another tribe member feeds it beer.
Bring beer and ghillie. Pick it with a quetz and drop it in a passive taming pin
