You can kill them if they are a low level.

It was a level 1 and a was soooooo scared when I got to taming it took one and it was tamed

I also used a soothing balm

I just found an easier way to tame these, (but only if you have 40 or more amber)

Step 1: Buy Major Soothing Balm.

Step 2:Be sure that you are wearing ghillie armor and be sure to have your tamed animals steer clear of the Chalicotherium of whom you are about to tame.

Step 3: Have at least one full stack of stimberries (if you use Major Soothing Balm on them they won’t start to lose taming progress even though your feeding them at any point).

Step 4: Walk up to the Chalicotherium in question as close as you can without angering it, and when in range, rub some Major Soothing Balm on their back. They love that!

Step 5: With your Chalicotherium all soothed and relaxed by the Major Soothing Balm, feed it one stimberry, and then wait a while, whilst closely following it until it gets hungry. Feed it another one and repeat, with the intervals now being much shorter. If you follow these instructions you should have a Chali without needing any beer! E-Z! (If you have 40+ amber)

Triceratops are the best predator to this alien cow i killed 6 in one place using my triceratops btw triceratops are hard to knock out but ones you tame it you can be the king of herbivores in the island (Evil laugh) it can also kill spinosaurus and raptor and they get insanely knocked back by just a single hit 😈😈😈

Chalico do not gather cactus sap on gen 2. I’ve tried and gotten nothing. Then tried with my hands and got sap.

They don't throw stone nor do they throw poop, they throw dirt. Sorry for the disappointment if you didn't know that🙂

Guys how do I feed it beer cause I tried and still can't

After feeding the first beer, you have to wait like 5 min (1200 food) before you can feed it the second time. From then its 1 min 25 sec ea feeding time.

I don’t really know if this happens to everyone but when I get close to them and try to tame them with berries, they will get aggressive and attack. This has prevented me from taming them sadly. Just wanted to put this out there in case it happens to anyone else. Have a good day/night!

The Chalico's wheel includes an option to make it sit. It's not just adorable, it's also a great and cost-efficient way of making it regain health faster. No need for cakes here ! Coupled with the fact that the Chalicotherium is quite tanky, plus has a melee AND a ranged attacks (which inflicts huge damage), it's one of the best herbivores for combat.

Everytime I try to tame one, it usually takes longer than said because it "isn't hungry" so to help, get it agroed then leave it for a minute it makes you start over sometimes but it works
