This might help if u play ark and ur level 90+ u can kill it and take it's implant and go to one obelisk and resummon it there and tame it there or if u're below 60 eat an rare flower tame a quetz or just tame it there on the spot i gotta were ghillie or chitin but for beginners use chitin is the best come close but not that close if u feed it this is a passive tame if it's aggroed ur taming is ruined use beer for taming and don't misclick after ur done u have urself a powerful and worth it tame

These are passive just never touch them or go really close

I tride taming one before with stimbarries and toock there before it showd on the taming bar and it was so agrisive

Don’t be fooled by the “non-violent” taming method, because these things would need to be knocked out.

They have op knock back upgrade stamina and just smack everything till it dies nothing else needed!

It was a level 1 and a was soooooo scared when I got to taming it took one and it was tamed

I also used a soothing balm

I just found an easier way to tame these, (but only if you have 40 or more amber)

Step 1: Buy Major Soothing Balm.

Step 2:Be sure that you are wearing ghillie armor and be sure to have your tamed animals steer clear of the Chalicotherium of whom you are about to tame.

Step 3: Have at least one full stack of stimberries (if you use Major Soothing Balm on them they won’t start to lose taming progress even though your feeding them at any point).

Step 4: Walk up to the Chalicotherium in question as close as you can without angering it, and when in range, rub some Major Soothing Balm on their back. They love that!

Step 5: With your Chalicotherium all soothed and relaxed by the Major Soothing Balm, feed it one stimberry, and then wait a while, whilst closely following it until it gets hungry. Feed it another one and repeat, with the intervals now being much shorter. If you follow these instructions you should have a Chali without needing any beer! E-Z! (If you have 40+ amber)

Every body is saying this thing is dangerous and that it will kill every thing you love but Thor wrong I agree that they are dangerous but I killed like a lot of these just by using a sword so when you in counter this take a sword with you

Takes a long time from the first feed for hunger to drop. Trap it if you can so you dont have to protect it while it wanders.
