The best way to tame the Chalicotherium would be to pick up with a Quetz. Then hold in place, while another tribe member feeds it beer.

Bring beer and ghillie. Pick it with a quetz and drop it in a passive taming pin

Build two stone foundations with stone door frames on every side but leave one side open and get the creature to chase you into the pin then simply place the last doorframe on the open space and he is trapped then just continue to take it.

When living near Chalicotherium spawn points, it is best to have a rex or strong dino on neutral following a random dino where you want it so if a Chalicotherium attacks, your base will be defended. If you are on a tame free world or dont want to risk your dinos, use torrents or xplants.

Unless you like poop in your face I suggest you stay back.This thing tames when it's drunk it throws poop and it's a horse on stiriods.STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

You can not tame it in primitive +, only with stimberrys but it takes forever
