If a cat doesn’t want to be tamed by you take it to water and it’ll let you feed it only while it’s swimming but if it gets back on land it’ll be aggressive again so you’ll have to get it back in the water

I've just watched a video about it, and the guy was clueless about how to tame it (as I am ;);)

Must not be patched on console then because I tamed a cat by leading it to water and feeding its taming food

I just tamed one with raw meat. Prime fish works best but I used plain raw cos I was so surprised and thought I'd try. Im calling her Mittens

Has anyone tried feeding them honey, when the symbol is red or yellow, to calm them?

Cat can be tamed wild as a wild cat.

Bring them to water and follow them and feed them, if they leave the water reagro them and bring them back in the water, they might run away so just let it run around and when it calms down you can reagro it and bring it back to the water and continue feeding it, use raw prime or mutton, cooked mutton also works pretty good, I tested out all the kibbles and none of them seem to be a preferred food

Scare away pegs micro raptors etc and even seagulls super good tame and better than dog in every right

Wear ghillie and sneak up to it and feed it kibble

Taming Method -

1.) wear tek suit

2.) agro it and let it latch on

3.) use tek suit zoom and land in water (either tek run or jump/fly dont use tek punch to take off as you might hit it with aoe)

4.) cat will detach and enter 'flee to land' mode if water is deep enough

5.) feed it taming food while its fleeing to land

repeat steps 2-5 as needed

When did this get added also it seems like this is kind of just gonna be a pet pet as in just a cute little thing low health low stamina but it would be cool if you could put it on your shoulder and maybe even smell certain enemies or rare items

If it’s symbol above its head is red or orange you can lead it to water to passive tame it when it’s swimming. The best way to do so is to have it latch onto you then fly away on your tame and jump off over water. If you have a wyvern you can hit C when on land to push it to water aswell if it makes its way to land.

Tip : Name it after your cat if you have one. ;-)

Passive tame

Crouch walk and feed it raw prime fish, prime raw, mutton or cooked

Aggro tame

When it grabs you, walk it into water

It can stay in water or you ca stay by water to keep feeding it when it aggros

Flak required for this one

Use the magfreako tech and oil it from the back

Build a small water pen in safe area.

Pick up cat with argent

Drop cat in water pen.

Swim around following cat with fish in last slot spamming feed button

If the color above it's head is yellow or red, it won't want to be tamed. If you build a 4 by 4 box in the water (deep enough so the cat has to swim) and it'll let you feed it even though it doesn't want to be tamed)
