Castoroides drop metal battlements! Which is very useful for tribes and solo players (Only on mobile I think).

The beaver dams that they make are useful if you need lots of wood. Their dams are also helpful if you need cementing paste or pearls.

New players just go for a lvl 50 until you feel safe enough to tame a higher lvl.

for those who aren’t sure, beavers spawn in asgard! i found a few at lat-32.7 lon-26.3 (in asgard) also, if you are not sure on how to get to asgard, there is a small cave at lat- 39.8, lon-57.9 with portals to all 3 sections in. hope this helps!

I tamed a male and female. I plan on mating and making a pelt farm to get fur armor and then tame an argy or something of the likes.

I had to wipe dinos to get them to spawn on fjordur.

To tame these guys use galli kibble, and bring at least a stack of narcotics or toxin for a higher lvl, Very helpful when you need wood

Than her will make dams for you and you had to collect loot from safe place and make shor her will not attack you and not had to tarp a temed creature you had to trap wild

When farming wood far use argentavis and keep wood in castoroides to care more.

Insane torpor drain, make sure you have all the narcotics you need first even with low levels. Took of for a maybe 2 mintues becuase i was low on narco berries to make narcotics, came back when before making more to check up on him only to find he was walking aeound the pen as if nothing had happened.......

By far the most efficient wood gatherer in ARK. Their ability to reduce the weight of wood coupled with their ability to harvest on the go makes them unmatched in the field.

Essential Tame for anyone who is into building and will make anyone's life easier.

The giant beaver dams can only be accessed from above or inside (walking over it with wyv works well).. then prepare for war as usual
