Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a carcharodontosaurus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a carcharodontosaurus.
if you don’t have a a pair of breeding rexes yet, you could also use yutys for 100%
Short Tip: Baby Carcharodontosaurus give more xp then gigas.
When you trap it and start feeding it if it stops eating and glitches out then you need to fly out of render distance and come back and then it will start eating. Also a good way to tame one is to tame a breeding pair of rexes and cryo a baby Rex and when you find a carchar throw the baby Rex out the unclaimed the baby’s Rex the kill the Baby Rex then feed it to the carchar and his taming will go all the way up then hop on it and kill everything around you to tame it.
To tame, place Dino gates in |_| shape lead carchar into close in 🔲 shape now feed two gallimius then ride kill everything possible don’t bleed too much takes away effectiveness now u run out of time repeat process boom you have carchar
-MrMeola (actually tamed it)
-Horsingdale (writer)
On the island, try to get a spawn near the redwoods since due to how many things live there, the second stage of the tame will be easy
You may ask, how many baby rexs will i need for the entire taming process? Well, its 1 for 100% trust, but your most likely not to complete the entire taming process in one go, so here’s a list: (i still recommend extra rexs incase there is a lack of creatures in your area)
Lvl 1-40: 1 or 2
Lvl 40-80: 2-3
Lvl 80-150: 2-5
It really depends on how many and what creatures are around, but its never guaranteed for a one and done, so good luck and happy taming.
Now, we all know they are distributed in areas similar to that of the Giganotosaurus, yet this may prove as an advantage. The volcanoes and mountains in the north are steep and tall, enabling you to drop corpses from steeper ledges the Carcha may not be able to reach.
Here is a massive tip, a high level bronto baby will 100% feed a lower level carchar, this meaning, you don't need to trap it, for safety (if you want) you can use a bear trap. Rare flowers are super useful because while riding the carchar, eating a rare flower will make any and every animal near you aggressive, making less of a hassle. (This does not include tames)
3 baby therizinosaurus does it 2 if your very fast
Taming these is easier than it seems, you don't even need a trap, depending on the settings you might only need one baby rex.
Cryo the baby rex, find the carcha and kill the rex and drag it to the carcha and the trust meter should be full.
If it takes damage while u ride it it will lower tame efficiency
Better drag weight the animal means higher trust
>Drag weigh amount = amount trust
The higher amount of hp gives bigger percentage
>High hp = Tame %
Use metal billboards for cheap and easy traps
The Charchar is a extremely fast and deadly creature. Its believed that a tamed charchar can even kill most of the largest creatures in Ark!I also tested and saw that no matter the stats of this beast. You can tame a Charchar at ANY level!Just be warned...if you approach it with a dead dino in hand to feed.It might bite back.
Guide: Find High Level Carcha (150 or higher) (Any level if you want) Get your Rexes and Breed them (If you don't have rexes tame a Male and female to breed) Breed them and get any gender Baby Rex and Cryopod it (If you want to) Find the Carcha again and Trap it in metal gates Feed it the Baby Rex when it does a sniffing animation, It will have a green circle bar above it's head and you can ride it (DISCLAIMER: Get rid of the metal gates first then ride it) Ride it and then kill many, MANY Dinosaurs until it is tamed (ANOTHER DISCLAIMER: There is a taming bar below when you ride it) and that is the Guide to The Carcha Taming! Thank you and Good Day to you!
If you get cryo sickness because like me you forgot to turn it off, then just use stem berries or stimulant to wake any creature up
Took 3 trikes lvl 100+ to get the bar to full up on a level 50. Wouldn't eat them unless I dropped the body outside the trap then left render distance. Came back and he ate while I was gone. Try to be in an area with easy access to dinos to kill and bring back. After circle turned green was able to ride it to finish the tame. Had a 10 min timer. After killing mainly stegos got thrown off and it was tamed. Need a saddle to ride again. Was during event with 8.75 rates
Since I saw people asking where to find these on Ragnarok you can find them in the Highlands
You don't need baby rex's, it's just extremely helpful. I used rex's but it's really up to preference
Not going to lie, my Carcher was the one of the easiest things I’ve ever tamed, lol.
Always use a trap because if you don’t and I know this from experience that they will almost always agro on to you after feeding it the corpse
