Drag dead dinos to them until friendship bar is full. Then ride for 10 minutes and kill creatures to tame. Damage will effect its taking effectiveness

Easiest way to Tame this guy is to first build a trap. I used just 4 behemoth gates (metal) with doors on each side. I left some room I could easily fit in and out of. Bring your own tames to feed this guy, I used 2 decent lv shadowmanes. Once they're dead drag them into the trap in the opposite direction it is facing, once it does its sniff animation drop it and leave so it can eat. As soon as the bar that appears is green you can run up and ride him. Open your trap, you have 10 minutes to kill everything in the area and get him tamed!!

How to tame: So you want to tame one of these beasts. Well, it's fairly simple! First, you want to trap the carcharodontosaurus using the same trap you would use for a giga. Once it's trapped, you want to drag dead creatures to it (the bigger the better) and it will eat them. Drag as many as you need until you see a green symbol above it, indicating you can ride it. Once you have mounted your carchar, run around killing everything (again, the bigger the better) until it's taming effectiveness is at 100%. At this point, it will throw you off, and you now have a rival to the mighty Giganotosaurus!

Here's an actual carcha tip: trap it, bring it corpses of the dinos YOU killed, it'll sniff them and eat them. A trust meter will appear above it. Once full - break the trap, ride it and kill things. Big and strong ones, preferably. That'll fill up the actual taming meter, once THAT'S full - enjoy you giant now-tamed murderlizard (also, have a sino or a parachute with you. When I tested in singlepayer, upon finishing the tame I was thrown quite high up off the carcha's back)

To tame make a beh trap!! Not sure if stone works but metal def does!! Kill Dino’s the bigger the better and drag to it to feed.

The Carchar is a passive tame, the taming method is similar to a fjordhawk. Once close enough it’ll smell you out and eat the corpse but carefull cause it will hurt you which why you gotta drop it while it’s doing it’s smelling animation. Also it agro’s immediately after it’s done eating so better be fast

To tame the Carcharodontosaurus, you have to trap it otherwise it will kill you. Once you trap it, feed it dead dino corpses like Woolly Rhinos, Carnotaurus, etc. Once you do that, a taming bar will appear above it, your objective is it fill it up. Once you fill the taming bar up, it will turn green and you have the ability to ride it. There will be another taming bar on the bottom of your screen. You haven’t tamed it yet, once you ride it you have approximately 600.0 seconds to ride it and you’ll have to kill dino’s while riding it. Once you fill the taming bar, it will dismount you and it will tame.

It came out today and you tame it by Feeding it Dead Dinos, and then you can Ride it and kill stuff until its tamed, and yeah u need a saddle after it

How to tame charcarodontosaurus:

Step 1: trap it and use bear-traps

Step 2 bring it dead bodies and a taming thing will be above its head

Step 3 once the taming thing above its head is green, go up to it and ride it

Step 4: you have 10 minutes to kill as much stuff as possible until its taming bar by your HUD is full

Step 5: enjoy your new CHARCARODONTOSAURUS

How to tame from what I know so far, you might want to trap it like a giga, then you must drag it bodies like a fjord hawk and after that process is done, you will be able to ride it. Then you must go around and kill things while riding it. It will then tame. Enjoy the new Dino! I know this tip is kinda vague but it’s only been 2 hours since it came out as I write this. Okay, the Carcha just came out officially during today's update (on PS4/PS5 at least, November 5th, 2022) I put one to sleep but no taming options, so... Does anyone have an Idea on how to tame this thing? Tip: don't waste time and narcs putting it to sleep, not the conventional taming. (!)

If you followed my tip when I said I forgot to tell you to add large bear trap…DO NOT DO IT!! I’ve heard that if you trap it they will not eat ever again instead bring it a baby Rex,brontosaurus, spinosaurus , etc by dragging it until it sniffs in the air, then run and repeat to trust bar is full. Though I do think it is cruel to kill the baby dino :(

If you read the other tip I sent I forgot to tell you to put a large bear trap in the center of it so he can’t run when you go to put up the fourth dinosaur gateway

P.S. don’t use a baby Rex to feed even though it is easy because killing a baby Rex is cruel. Plz up this !

If you have a Baby Rex, Take it to a Carcharodontosaurus. Then kill the Rex take it to the Carcharodontosaurus and feeding it will give you 100% trust Hope this helps out

DONT TRAP THEM it messes with their ai horribly! instead take a baby rex (newborn) and wait a few seconds if you let it out of a cryo so it doesn’t mesh then kill it and drag it’s body to the carcha let the body go and run when it does the sniff animation it should be instantly trusting towards you and all you have to do is ride and go on a killing spree to tame its a lot easier than people seem to think
