Do not run out of Stam with your favorite wyvern next to it
Does not like people landing near it
ITS NOT A GIGA REMAKE'!!!!!!!!!!
Lure a wild one to an enemy's base then get it to trust you, if they have small tames or tames that have a low max health in general then that's an easy clap because since youre riding a wild carcharo you can instantly heal to max health when you kill a creature and harvest its corpse.
However the trust timer only lasts 10 min and the carcharo will automatically dismount you upon reaching 100 stacks of bloodrage then start attacking anything shortly after it dismounts you.
To tame a Carcharodontosaurus you will need 1-5 baby rexes cryod in cryopods. When you will Finder a Carcha, you have to kill 1 rex, and grab him to the Carcha. Carcharo will eat the body, and will gain friend tracking. When the tracking is green, ride it and kill everything in sight
If you plan on taming one of these, be prepared to lure a giga away from the area. May not happen all the time but they spawn alongside each other.
HES A BEAST/MONSTER,never try to beat him, especially if your new, have you seen your gigantosaurus v wild carcharodontosaurus, gigantosuarus wins, but if its your carcharodontosaurus v wild gigantosaurus, carcharodontosaurus wins.
It is actually a very simple tame
1.place 3 metal billboards sothat it looks like an n
2.place 2 large bear traps inside
3.lead the carch into the trap and place the last billboard
4.kill animals and feed it to him or you can feed him a baby Rex they give 💯 trust.
5.once the trust meter is full you can ride it and kill animals until the taming is full
6.give your carch a saddle and name ( saddle unlocks on lvl.96)
7.upp sothat I can rest my fingers from this long tip 😢 😹
Passive tame build a metal trap u might need a friend give dead bodies give it a saddle kill creatures so it gains trust and hopn
I found one near my base on extinction in the morning biome. I was not even a bit prepared to tame it so I had to kill it or I would have killed all my dinos and would have destroyed my whole stone structure base. I've killed a female Level 22 of it with an Argentavis which had about 3.000% melee damage. It took a while and my Argentavis was several times at 800 HP or less of 2.700 HP. The Carcha was a bit stuck or at least slowed down by trees or otherwise it would have turned faster and it would have been much harder to hit it with the Argentavis without my Argentavis getting killed.
On ark mobile use (ultimate survivor edition) please don't not set the dino DMG to 0 while taming bc he would not be able to eat the corpses you wouldn't be able to tame it
Just bring a baby rex to it and if u want do what I did, use 4 rexes, unclaimed them and kill them they give around 40-60% tame then just kill diplos and creatures with high hp and there you have it carchar
(DO NOT DROP THE BABY REX or else you'll get COOKED if you do try to drag it as fast as possible before he gets you)
I really like these guys there one of my favs. The best way to tame these guys is by putting down 3 metal Dino gateways in a way to look like a box missing a wall. Then lead him in the trap by having him chasing you then when he is in place another metal Dino gateway then bring dead Dino’s to have him feed. Then a trust bar will appear and when it’s full he is tamed and they don’t need a saddle to ride but you can give it one. Hope this was helpful plz up this to spread the word!
I’ve experimented with taming these multiple times. It’s pretty easy once you have the hang of it. What I do is build four behemoth gateways and attach the gates to them (people say dinosaur gates work too, but I haven’t tested them yet so I don’t know). Make sure they are made of metal so that the carcha doesn’t damage them. Have a space where you can escape and also so you can enter and exit (this is relevant later). Open the gate that you want the carcha to enter, and at the end of the trap, put large bear traps down. Then, shoot at it or whatever to lure the carcha into your trap and make your escape through the small space. When it’s in the bear trap, SHUT THAT DAMN DOOR AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Make sure there are NO gates open. Now that the hard part is done, get an army or a flier that carries stuff and scatter a bunch of animals around. Get as many as possible. This is relevant later. Then, kill a ton of animals and drag the corpses into the trap where the carcha is. Get out of render distance so it’ll eat the corpses, and after eating, the carcha will be a little ornery. This is normal. Keep feeding it corpses until the trust meter turns green. With the animals you scattered, kill them while riding the carcha until it is tamed. If you have to search for more animals to kill, do so.
If you tamed the carcha, congratulations!! You’ve done it!
If the time that the dinosaur is chill is running out and it’s not close to being tamed, ride the carcha back into your trap and close the doors. Repeat the process.
This is how I did it throughout all my experiments and taming my pets. They’re cool asf and worth the stress and heart attacks.
Baby rexes and full grown ones full the bar completely
Best way to tame is bear trap and baby rex once u get trapped throw baby rex and kill it and feed it then use rare flowers to attract everything in the area
I completed to tamed.First trape with 4 metal dino gate then you go outside the distraction range of Carcha, then feed a one baby Rex you breed.
If I see one more person call this a giga I'm going to scream! Wildcard doesn't have to make anything for us because ark is already a great game but here they are giving is this beauty and ark 2 so i don't care you wanted a bison just deal with it you haven't even seen ot in game so yoi have 0 reasons to be complaning!!!

After you tame it you will be automatically dismounted and flung to either side of the carcharo, then after you land near it you can take anywhere from 75 to 150 fall damage. This can instantly kill you then leave your carcharo and your items lost if you don't know where you died.
After you gain a wild carcharos trust (the hexagon turns GREEN), it you are able to damage it and it will not attack back (tested on ark use) this allows you to easily kill it within 10 minutes using a high damage dino as carcharos with a green hexagon cannot damage tamed creatures unless the tamed creatures are unclaimed, (I tried this with tamed low level creatures I no longer needed) and are only aggressive to wild creatures. However when the 10 minute timer expires the carcharo will roar, dismount you if you were riding on it then after a few seconds it will act like a wild carcharo again and attack you and your tames.
If you have no moral compass you can trap the charchar and kill your baby yuty to feed it that will probably make the fill the trust meter up fully and get a few of your high HP diplodocus and kill them with the charchar and now you have a charchar
