Hey just for those who don't know about this strategy yet but me and my friends had used ghille suits and left a large bear trap when things get sticky but hope fully this was helpful

Trapping a charchar on console seems to cause it to not really eat anything, so my best advice to the PlayStation players who lack tek armor, would be to use ghillie, cactus broth, etc to make it not see you, or a fast tame very nearby somehow, it’s tricky.

By using baby boss rexes, a 150 lvl Carcharodontosaurus only needs one and the bar is instant full for you to ride. We killed the baby it with a lightning wyvern and just dragged it to the Carcha. He was happy and it was way quicker than killing wild dinos to drag. Do not trap it since there is a "bug" that can prevent them from taking the snack from you until they are set free again.

Use 3 metal dino gateway and a large bear trap. Once inside, close with a 4th gateway. Kill a baby diplo or bronto and offer the sacrifice, may take 2 sacrifices but be ready. Once over the creature and out of the trap, try to kill large creatures like diplo, after every kill it gains damage immunity for a few seconds but try to not expose the dino to attacks and you maybe tame it with 100% effectiveness.

Can use unwanted tames as well to feed it. Could use rare flowers to help tame

Using a trap seems to cause it to bug out more often than not. We leave it free and bring dead bodies to it until it does a sniffing animation and comes to eat the body.

Sacrifice your own tames, try higher health and levels. They are very OP and can easily take down a giga if mutated half way.

This is ridiculous the way it'll be tamed! I didn't check how it'll be tamed and tranq darted it to sleep. Now I've to tame it while it was awake, the torpor of 27,240 is decreasing luke a snail. Idk how many hours is that. Probably 48hrs.

Trap it with metal don't sleep it give hem or her dead body, I tried to get hem or her dead body of a Andrewsarchus like 7 time and not 1 it eat it sow they don't work.

This thing becomes more powerful the more it kills, the Blood Rage (the more you bite) gives it an absurdly fast HP regeneration Speed and a Damage Buff. The Killing Frenzy (After each kill and last for 10 Seconds) gives it immunity to stun and a terrifying speed buff, it also has a Bleed buff that last for 9 seconds, and lastly it has a kill meter that stacks to 100 but it depends on what you kill and it’s Health, (for example a Dodo will count as 1 kill but a Rex counts as 3 kills) the higher the kill count the greater the damage, it has a roar but it will cancel out the kill count and a tail spin with knock back.
