It gives 4x more xp than a giga so use baby carchas to level up faster!

This thing is very easy to tame if you use baby rex's and a trap all you need to do is just kill bigger sized animals and come back and put it into the trap when it's like 20 seconds and repeat the process till tamed

I have tamed 2 of these fellas now and the best way to do for me is to tame multiple Trycs and kill them than Feed to the Carcharodonto and you should be fine. You don’t even need a trap

Guys, just finished taming 1 male lvl 145 with a really simple way, forgot about trapping at all, just clear the area from any raptors or other aggressive creatures, get a a baby rex, wyvern, giga kill it and grab the body, go after the carcha but look for killing frenzy cd, then approach to him, he will eat, instantly friendship starts, hope in and go kill, and even for paracerium or bronto, but keep attacking from their tail side.

If u are going for high level 100+ then keep looking on clinter and once it reaches 50, get down and go a little bit far from it, kill another baby then continue. Damn it’s actually much easier than rex, can u believe it😂

OMG I just realized you can get this thong which is better than a giga, way early in the tetrery. Great for beginners in Ark survival evolved. Great addition to the game. Better version of the giga you can get at any level where you can make a trap and kill Dino’s!

Use baby Rex to tame 1 is enough to fill friendship meter I’ve tamed 5 in a few hrs this way

I built a large wall around my base, and it was hard to make it tall on my own, so I stand on my charcharodontosaurus’s head to build easier

My charcharodontosaurus is named barricade, he’s male.

You can cryopod high level baby Rex's unclaim then and use the charch to kill the Rex's to make sure taming effectiveness is high

This thing gave me a devil of a time taming it. The first thing you should do it to make an enclosure that will trap it. DO NOT USE BEAR TRAPS, they are ineffective and only trap it for a short amount of time! Make sure that there is a small hole for you to walk though. Leave a space big enough for the carchar to enter. Lure the carchar over with a corpse. Trap him in. Kill more dinosaurs and bring them in through that hole you made. When the bar is almost full bring that final corpse MAKE SURE HE SNIFFS IT and demolish some of the walls. Ride it, kill everything you se and viola! Carchar at your service!

Once you have this bad boy trapped give him a few Andrews as a sacrifice then slaughter all who stand in your way and you will have a fine berserker at your side for many raids and your journey to valhalla thor be with you brothers and may Odins wisdom guide you

If you haven't got one of these yet I would recommend getting one my 1st one I got was a 150melee on hatch leveled it to just under 300% took on a 135 r giga no problem at all oh sorry I had 62 stacks on meter didn't lose any hp at all these things are ridiculous. I say by 350% on hatch gigas will be no more

I tamed on and they are a pain to take I wish you could just knock em out instead of passive tame but you can force tame them but if not trap them in a 1×1 metal gates plus place 3 down first then large bear trap once car triggers trap place #4 down then take bodies to it preferably Diplo's and throwaway rex's once bar turned green go ride it and kill things DO NOT TAKE DAMAGE or the taming gos down 👇👇

What I did was build 2 metal beh gates at either end and 4 metal Dino gates between for length. Just a long box basically. The circle trap was causing the carcho to get stuck in a falling state so make it straight. Have sanguine elixir on hand and don’t stray to far from your trap because you will definitely have to retrap on higher levels. Remember your max weight is what determines what dead Dino’s you can drag.

Keep in mind that the taming bar is based on the drag weight of the creature your feeding it, so one of the best is using rhinos and trikes

Use stone or metal gates and place a lot of them

Ok so what i do to tame this beast is if i see one i drag a dead trike or stego and feed it and just power boost away with tek armor and keep repeating these steps in tell this beast is tamed👍🏻

You do not have to trap at all if you breed your boss rex and kill the babies. I get a full friendship bar with one and hop straight on Carchar as soon as they eat the one. Just hatch and cryo babies till needed. Most people have 18 or so boss Rex.

Baby Rex’s fills it in one shot…hop on it and start killing…back up as you attack every hit from a Dino takes its effectiveness down…you don’t need to trap it…I still can’t figure out why people are trapping it…the desmodus potion works on it as well they last 4 hours so make one before you start hunting for a car….for some reason it kicks at random times so around 200 ish seconds try to keep the Dino in an area that has no other Dino’s if he attacks stuff while your not on him he will lose effectiveness if there is a trap close buy that’s unlocked try to get kicked off inside the trap then repeat it not time sensitive so just get to a safe place…if you have traps on a pve server unlock it so everyone can use it and they don’t have to make their own creating and endless maze of traps in every damn area it spawns lol

build a trap with 4 small metal archways and a behemoth archway, then kill 1 of your babyrexes, and drag him to him.. if he doesn't eat open the door and get him back in the trap. when riding only kill animals that don't do too much damage to you. approx. 5 times 20% taming step at x1. it is wise to put it back in the trap shortly before it expires. much luck

Trap it like a giga to feed it corpses, once the meter is full you can ride it and kill stuff for 10minuts in an attempt to tame it. Lower hp but otherwise same stats as a giga but with great abilities. Gotta say it's a really nice tame
