If trying to tame on fjourdur wooly rhinos work really well next to baby Rex’s or spinos!

Shares spawns with Gigas. So they can only be found in maps with Gigas. Making Gigas even more rare than they were before on certain maps.

Really not a tip... I need to know where these spawn because I searched the whole map and couldn't find a giga and I read that its a giga lite so anything could help

So to shorten for yall and ark community carcharodontosaurus lets call it carchar. So far we only know that carchar can be a potential giga killer, a must raid dino because of its roar boost and lastly that it is a pretty lethal creature that seems to not have a saddle? Of course it might have a built in saddle or it might be rideable without it. Pretty exited for it it is my favorite dinosaur after all and it will probably be the 1st dino I will fully stack mutate to above 200 base health and melee stats

If you have a baby rex that you don’t want trap the carch an feed it the Rex. Ps it HAS to be a baby

A thing I noticed is that they only appear near or on an a mountain so yah

So it says that you need to trap it first. Then start building up its trust. A friend and I was able to just drag dead creatures to it and when it starts to sniff the air, RUN! LOL. Rinse and repeat. Then once it's trust is up, tame as normal.

Here is your one stop tip on taming the Carcharodontosaurus, the killing machine that is better than the giga for several reasons, but anyways here is how to tame with 100% effectiveness;

Firstly; decide how you will go about taming it from one of two approaches. You can either go for it without bringing and building a trap and just drag bodies you find from wild Dino’s. This could actually work but is more risky and will certainly take longer, but it can work and won’t negatively affect taming effectiveness.

Secondly; Lure it into your trap if you made one (trap is usually just like the giga trap with 4 dino gates and a large bear trap in the middle, when it gets caught you place last dino gate behind it.)

IF you have baby Rexes to kill, you should use them to gain the Carchars trust as they will shoot the bar up to 100% with one Rex!

Now go on a killing spree of course to get its taming up. However there are some things you should be aware of;

1. DO NOT TAKE FALL DAMAGE, taking fall damage while riding it will ANNIHILATE the taming effectiveness, so be careful especially on the island where they only spawn around the mountains.

2. If PvP is turned on, you could kill your own tames to guarantee a quick perfect tame, just be careful not to allow his kill streak to reach over 100 because you will get kicked off.

One rex is good enough to fill it's friendliness bar up all the way. Tested with a lvl 140 on x1. You need roughly 1k weight to drag one though.

I don’t really like real life carcharodontosaurus but it’s ark is adding it I would like to talk about it (No negativity) also carcharodontosaurus is in my top 10 favorites so it’s still cool

First I want to start out with saying I don’t believe this is a giga reskin, just a big theropod that is being added to ark.

It would be cool if we finally had an animal that could kill wild gigas with ease so if this is gonna be powerful like that it would be cool. The problem with that thought would mean that it would be op wild to and maybe even stronger wild so we should probably get rid of that thought (not carcars. Don’t get rid of carcars) or cry when we get out butts kicked by carcars. I think this is also gonna be a great addition to ark cause they added spinosaurus it’s almost natural enemy so maybe the carcar may actually be weaker than spino but builds up rage overtime. This is unlikely though because wild spinos are really weak if not high level. Imagine if it has bleed to, it could be a op giga killer or boss fighter. The problem with that is both it may be nerfed the day it comes out and what if it couldn’t go into the boss arena. It could be a great base raider too because of its sheer power. Imagine if it could break tek… scary! Imagine you get this by accident as a lvl 10- and just kill anything in sight the whole play through. Also taking this to maps such as extinction. It could be perfect for titan killers because it gets stronger over time and it may have bleed. Anyways that’s it for now if you read this far thanks so much

This is epic. I mean, the Giga is the king of ark, and it had no rival. Until now. I wanna be able to see a giga have a challenger to its throne, where you can be strolling past and a giga goes after you but one of these bad boys show up and it becomes a turf war. Then you could either run for cover or be obliterated in the crossfire, or your enemies show up with a giga and you pull out one of these. Then it is a test of power. Man these are gonna be sick
