From how i understand it right now (before its release) it seems to give you access to a fast travel system, and allows you to hide away in a temporary bunker (hole in the ground)

You essentially play hide and seek with this thing after each feed because it goes somewhere else. After you find it, you can feed it again, then rinse and repeat and boom! You got a burrowbuck or burrowdoe!

Taming is easy. Wear ghillie, and bring a few cactus broth.

For taming the beaver dams by green ob on rag are amazing for finding them and you can get carrots from highlands.

Just crouch walk up when theyre still, DONT MOVE WHEN THEYRE MOVING youll spook them, feed kibble or carrots. Repeat until tamed

How I tamed my burrowbucks is I crouched and fed them rock carrots, their preferred foods are rockcarrot and superior kibble. I did it completely naked but the downside is that their speed is faster than your crouch speed so it can be frustrating but as long as I was crouched they never aggroed. Also they eat as soon as youre able to feed them so you dont need to wait. They tend to spawn in redwoods and grasslands.🥕🐰🐇

You don’t need Ghillie for it. Just crouch once you’re close enough, slowly approach it from behind, and feed it kibble or carrots. As long as you stay crouched, it won’t run even if it turns toward you.

A Tek suit makes things a lot easier because after each feed it burrows underground and moves a fair distance away. With a Tek suit, you can catch up to it much faster.

If it says “doesn’t want to be fed right now” or “not hungry,” sometimes it bugs out and won’t update properly. What usually fixes it is leaving render distance and coming back. Once you return, spam the feed button and it should take the food.

Also bring a shield. If you get trapped in its pit, pull your shield up and keep it raised while spamming the punch button to escape. The shield blocks the damage while you break out safely. Once you’re free, run away until it stops glowing yellow and then go back.

Apparently they make mesh caves or something like that.

Using the Gloon's Invisibility is valid, but the real star of the show is the Gloon's Mesmerise ability. Hit the Burrowbuck with this and feed during the effect to deny it's ability to flee - completely trivializing the entire process!

If they have a baby they will try to murder you and you tames stay safe :D
