Probably the easiest boss in the island. All you need to defeat it is 17 megatheriums, 2 daedons, 1 yuty. Will kill broodmother no matter what.

The broodmother isn't tamable unless you use forcetame

I honestly don’t know why people are saying u need like 20 rexes. Went in with a decent rec, meh spino and some decent triceratopses, defeated it no problem.

19 Rex’s or megatheriums with 20-50k hp and 800-1000% melee and 80-120 armor saddles will easily down her on alpha bring a yuty for the 20% damage/damage reduction buff (you can also fear roar the spiders to lower their damage by 20% as well.)

jump into the fight hop on your yuty and start roaring your brains out and fear roar when the adds come in for an easy victory.

Ah yes, my first ever boss fight.

I had brought spinos to fight it, plus a Yuty and a Daeodon. I had read a guide to put Yuty and Daeodon on a different whistle group than attack creatures, so I did just that. But, stupid little me, put the active whistle group on my Yuty and my Daeodon, not my attack spinos. So during the boss fight, my Yuty and my Daeodon were trying to fight the boss all alone without my spinos help. After they died, it went for the spinos. For some reason on passive, they did nothing to stop it. Halfway through the battle, I realized my mistake. I switched to my Spino whistle group and then they started attacking. But it was too late for them and me. The Broodmother had already done too much damage and then shredded what was left of my Dino’s. And then, me.

And that’s how i lost to the gamma Broodmother!

How to tame it you can’t tame them there is a glitch but you can’t and don’t bola them whatever you do

Use Megatherium for the Broodmother because they get a HUGE boost for killing insects and spiders.

I defeated her solo, on alpha difficulty, my army of dinos was composed of 16 megatheriums (~25-30k hp, 1,500% damage), Two daedodons (~20k hp and 5500 Hunger), A yuty (~18k health, 990 stamina, 2000% damage) and a rex ( ~30k hp and 2000% damage). As soon as I entered the arena, I just sent my dinos to swarm her, I was riding one of the daedodons and left my yutys auto courage on, even with the daedodons healing I still suffered some casualties, 2-3 megatheriums died, as well as my Yuty, but my yuty died at around less than half her hp bar, I didnt need to use my master craft shoftgun very much, or my rockets, my riot armor did break though so I suggest to bring a spare, that and some healing supplies.

Megatheriums get the bug killer buff and spinos get the water buff so use them with one Yuty and Daedon.

I found it while I was in the forest that is right i found the cave

I don't think it will really work in an obelisk cause it didn't for me so try going on valguero to find the wild one and just forcetame it

probably a dumb question but do yall think a level 500 Rex with Tek armor and 2,000% Melee damage could take this on solo? and before you ask no i havent used console commands, but i did miss a job interview, my own wedding AND my own funeral to get him up that high😂😂

To defeat alpha mother you would probably want to have 2 high level yuty with one person riding one of them then you would want to have 8 megatheriums and then 8 rexes with 2 pigs that have lots of meat.That is how my team defeated the boss. Warning you lose some things don’t be mad you can always get more.

Do u think a Max gig with Health and damage mutations could kill it by it self

I suggest that you at least have 6-10 Megatheriums, 1 Yutyrannus, 1 Daedon... Have the Yuty and Daedon in the back and let the Mega’s fight, to be safe I recommend a couple of Rex’s and Allosaures’s.

Flamethrower will wipe the spiders out remember ammo
