To the players who think brontosaurus is the same thing as apatosaurus, u are wrong. Sorry if that sounded rude, but it’s facts. Years ago, scientists thought that apatosaurus and brontosaurus was the same thing, but scientists discovered that brontosaurus is different. It was different enough from apatosaurus that it became it’s own type of dinosaur in its own right.

Why does nobody tame this on play throughs?

Is it to big and thicc.

If you want to hunt this beast for the exp you should either lure it into the water and pick it of with a flyer or get some leverage.

Ez way to tame a bronto get 6 normal Dino gateways then shoot it with a crossbow behind the trap once it is in seal it in and the tranq it even a crossbow works then once it is knocked out feed it crops then craft a uplink and deticated storage set them as berrys get the platform saddle put the uplink on the platform and then watch as all the berrys get toes home as you grind with him

To person that saw the person that suggested giving ur bronto a berry so u can walk down it's neck when it lowers it and then suggested u can also just go slide down the tail-

Thx cuz I'm literally bored so much of the time in ARK and also I am confused how that works cuz I'm only lvl 56 so I can't even see ahead what lvl I need for bronto to saddle but for my dinos that do have a saddle(like my carno,trike,parasuars,raptors,carbonymyses,and maybe a few more,not sure)my character will literally just jump off of it from the side,meaning- my character getting off the bronto saddle probably=💀

You can make a trap to tame AKA taming trap so DO NOT USE A NARCOTIC TRAP. So use a stone, metal, or TEK trap that is big enough for bronto to fit in. If the bronto is stuck, you get a free bronto for the early or mid game.

They are affected by a large bear trap even though it says it can’t

U thought u killed all the brontos on the island but there are more and I tamed one and it’s so strong! I made it level 100 with god console

These guys are hard to tame with a bow and tranq arrows so try to get a gun and tranq darts. Also try shooting them in the neck. The neck will boost efficiency. Even still, I tried taming it with a gun, it was inanely hard. So I would wait till mid game or late game to try to tame one. You can thank me later

I remember when me and my friend thought that you tamed this thing by knocking it out with a catapult turret. We went out and crafted a raft and put a catapult turret on it. We sailed over to herbivore island, found a bronto, started pelting it with rocks. After about the 40th rock, I started to question my friend's knowledge of ark. It wasn't until about a year later when I finally tamed one, that I realized you knock them out with tranq arrows...good times.
