How to tame a frog:

All you need is water, stimberies, bola and a slingshot or tranq arrows. You can get prime meat from titanoboas so no need for your own food.

Find one, shoot it, run and lead it away from the swamp, bola it, knock it out and begin taming with any meat of your choice. Stimberies just in case it licks you and water if stims make you dehydrated.

They are really easy to tame. Just bola the frog and shoot him with some tranq arrows or something like that and that’s it. The only annoying party of taming them is to go to the swamp which can be difficult.

Once I was trying to tame one of these guys. I was using a crossbow with tranquilizer arrows to tame it. This was my first time trying to tame one. I had it caught between a rock and a tree so when it got knocked unconscious I thought it was just sitting there, so I kept shooting. Be very careful and pay attention to when it makes a sound and just kind of falls flat. Also, press F to pay respects to Phrog.

Do the frog escort mission on Genesis and you can get tons of ascendant saddles for these guys. I did it on Beta and got 4 ascendant saddles (loot quality not increased.)

If you try to breed them in open ocean/water, they will swim in circles and ignore each other. Build a pen over water deep enough to submerge them before attempting to mate.

First i tame it with bola and bow and tranq arrows and then raw meat and soothing balm and boom and i name him Jeffrey

Honestly not too hard to tame, it’s just that they spawn in very hostile environments. Bola them if you want, or just keep your distance and put a few tranqs in it. Feed it meat, pump it with a few narcotics to keep it knocked out, and you got yourself a lifetime of cementing paste.

Do NOT cryo the tadpoles. They will die

When breeding keep in mind that they have to breed in the water, you can't move the eggs and they don't leave the water until grown.

These guys are seriously underrated.. if you get a saddle these kids fly.. you can’t die with em.. and they’re super ez tame, just bola one and club it just avoid the face and the other swamp monsters

You need A Bola,Crossbow with 15 arrows and narcotics.Bola the Beelzebufo and shot with tranqarrow

Bola this Toad! And shoot him in the head with some tranquillisers and he shall me yours to use!

Step 5: use Paiste to make a saddle for a more useful tame.

On ragnorok almost impossible to get. Only one island you can get it from and tons of crocs are there

All you really need to do is grab it with and Argy and trap it then tranq it but be careful when you tranq it because it will knock you out and kill you. It is a very good tame to because it is very fast.

Easily one of my favorite dinos that I've tamed. Just an all around great mount. And kiss your cementing paste problems goodbye, I hated having to use my chitin for cementing paste instead of using it for other items, plus it is the best mode of transportation in the game since the flier nerf; what little stamina is used to jump regenerates midair. So he's a good mode of transport, he's great for raids cuz he can jump walls, he's great for taming because of the torpor damage, and he collects cementing paste like a beast!

Just bola, tranq, and plop some meat in their inventory. And boom. You have friend. Extremely easy to get and beyond worth it.

If you a newbie, don't go to swamp, because your chance of death is rapidly increase because of Titanoboa,Sarco,Leech,Lampreys pr even a Spino. Just prepare your gear and meat and Club or tranq arrows, use bug repellant to meet this guy
