If you breed these they are really over powered can easily get 5k health and 500% damage with imprinting, they can also take down alpha with ease!

When you breed them you can't pick up the egg so be prepared to hatch it then

They are really easy to tame. Just bola the frog and shoot him with some tranq arrows or something like that and that’s it. The only annoying party of taming them is to go to the swamp which can be difficult.

Use big level in poison cave it's full of bugs. I recommend 200+

Once I was trying to tame one of these guys. I was using a crossbow with tranquilizer arrows to tame it. This was my first time trying to tame one. I had it caught between a rock and a tree so when it got knocked unconscious I thought it was just sitting there, so I kept shooting. Be very careful and pay attention to when it makes a sound and just kind of falls flat. Also, press F to pay respects to Phrog.

Due to thier quick swim speed, turning ability, vertical movement, and mounted comat, great for underwater taming. KOd sharks, dunkles, pleis, and even Mosas with these babies. Is squish though, watch out for cnids, eel, squid.

Do the frog escort mission on Genesis and you can get tons of ascendant saddles for these guys. I did it on Beta and got 4 ascendant saddles (loot quality not increased.)

Take this thing to the redwood cave with high melee and a gas mask and you will black weight on CP and chitin. All your worries are gone.

Me and my tribe mate tried to knock out one of these but it broke the bola and tranqed both of us, we surprisingly survived because it lost aggro on us and hopped away. Be careful though, these guys can seriously deal out some real torpor.

If you try to breed them in open ocean/water, they will swim in circles and ignore each other. Build a pen over water deep enough to submerge them before attempting to mate.

Take stimulant when they hit you to lower your torpor

Speed, speed and more speed makes this thing go so fast!!! But never ever I MEAN NEVER EVER let it Attack your target without you sitting on it.

Need about 400% melee to one shot glowbugs with its sweep attack on aberration. Evolved.

Ark make these guys bee-proof, like a bear. It just makes sense.

These guys are great for getting cementing paste if you are near a place that has alot of bugs and another way to get a good bit of chitchla(forgot how to spell it basically their exoskeleton)

First i tame it with bola and bow and tranq arrows and then raw meat and soothing balm and boom and i name him Jeffrey

Honestly not too hard to tame, it’s just that they spawn in very hostile environments. Bola them if you want, or just keep your distance and put a few tranqs in it. Feed it meat, pump it with a few narcotics to keep it knocked out, and you got yourself a lifetime of cementing paste.

Do NOT cryo the tadpoles. They will die
